“a "must" on your bucket List”

Whatever the occasion - go.
It is worth the trip from nearly any destination. Locals sometimes spend a night, or weekend there as a retreat from everyday life.
If you can only afford to stay one night - do it! Then make sure you have breakfast at the buffet. The breakfast buffet alone is worth the trip.

The Inn has incomparable service, stunning views (like all of the Smokey Mountains), lovely architecture, and comfortable rooms. Quiet, and dignified, but not at all stuffy, the staff is anxious to please.
This is not to be missed.

Room Tip: Every room has incredible views; but the Estate is visible from Southern exposures.

Staying at the Biltmore has been a long-time desire, and the stay did not disappoint. The grounds are charming, and the Inn is quaint. We stayed in a Deluxe King, and it was enjoyed luxury. Lush bed, lavish bathroom, and comfortable space. Parts of the Inn (hallways, elevators, decor) are a bit "tired," but these are easily overlooked. The gatekeeper greets you warmly, and it's an exciting trek from the front gate up to the Inn. We ate at the property, too, and the food was delicious although the reservation system (and wait) was a bit ridiculous. Nevertheless, we would recommend the Inn and are likely to return.

Room Tip: If you can, go for the upgrade!

The Inn on the Biltmore Estate excels in every area you would expect from a great hotel. Situated in an 8000 acre forest the scenery is beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the food excellent and the service friendly and helpful. Activities abound and if you like to walk there are copious trails. We stayed two nights and will plan a longer stay next time.

I only stayed one night at the Biltmore on their special February rate which included breakfast. One night isn't enough. You walk into a beautiful lobby with floor to ceiling windows, everything painted in a warm and soft yellow hue. Very open & inviting. Staff is very nice. My room overlooked the parking lot so I went down and asked for a different room. They were only at 60% occupancy so I knew they had rooms available. I got a different room overlooking the village. I was told they normally charge $25 additional for those views. Big improvement. The property was built in 2001 so they have all the latest conveniences.

For me as a single person, I felt this property was too isolated from everything. This can be a good thing. If you want to be near the town then this isn't the place for you as it is a good 10-15 minute drive to anything. It is very quiet here, and the grounds are lovely. The time of year wasn't exactly conducive for outside activities (cold) so I didn't enjoy the gardens as much as I would have liked. I stayed the previous 2 nights at the Grand Bohemian in town which I actually liked better, but it has a completely different feel.

I was disappointed in the brunch which was included in my room rate. I actually had tickets for 2 people. It was just an ok buffet. The tea service was disappointing, water got cold too fast. If you have one person in your party I wouldn't spend the extra money for a breakfast included. It was $189 w/breakfast or $159 w/o. Should have done the $159 rate. This is a very discounted rate because February is such a slow time.

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Estate. I got a two day ticket. Could have done it all easily in one day. For couples this place could be a very romantic place to be. Rooms are very nice.

My one recommendation would be to carry KLEENEX product!! Enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: They may charge extra for the rooms overlooking the village, but that is definitely the better view...

From the moment you check in to departure, everything was first class. They really go above and beyond on service. There are numerous settings to grab a drink or coffee and relax. Best sleep ever! Free bottle water in rooms and coffee makers. The breakfast buffet was incredible, ask for a window view.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade to look out over antler hill village.

One of the friendliest teams I've encountered, from the front desk to the people dusting the woodword, they all seemed genuinely glad we were there. Meals during our business meeting were fresh, well-prepared, and varied. Lots of options for healthy eating! My sleeping room was nicely appointed and comfortable with a fine view of the mountains and Biltmore in the distance (the house is about two miles from the inn). The exercise room was adequate (I've seen far worse in larger hotels), with weights, elliptical, treadmill, and "universal" Cybex equpment.

All public areas and meeting rooms were fresh, clean, and new looking, even though the hotel is 11 years old. It has an old-world look and feel with splendid balconies, comfortable furnishings, and a professional staff who are ready to help make your stay worth it.

It's been a long time since I've had such a wonderful time at a business meeting!

My new favorite place. Can't wait to back! Great bed, great views, wonderful food! Wish I could give more stars. The weather was beautiful when we were there and not crowded. Spent most of the day at the inn on Saturday and spent Sunday touring the mansion and enjoying the grounds. What a treasure Asheville has in the Biltmore Estate and Inn.
