We spent 3 nights at the Inn and could not have been more pleased. The ENTIRE staff was friendly and helpful. Great room and breakfast buffet. The shuttle service was prompt. Antler Village was a short walk down the hill. Look forward to our next visit.

This was one of the nicest parts of our visit to the Asheville area. We had reserved a room with a King bed and received an upgrade to a suite. What a room - impecable decorating and cleanliness. One of the best beds I ever slept on! Entire staff very cordial. I was a bit surprised that the pool was not bigger, but it was sufficient. Nice ammenites and gorgeous views from room.

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary at the Inn. It is beautiful in every way. The employees are so well trained, pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent in all restaurants and especially at the Inn. The estate is breathtaking as well as the mountains surrounding the area. The Cecil Family should be proud !

My wife and I recently spent three wonderful nights at the Inn. This was our seventh stay over the past ten years, and we were one hundred percent satisfied yet again (no small accomplishment, to put it mildly). This was a special visit to commemorate our 25th wedding anniversary and the Inn staff recognized the occasion in a few very thoughtful (and much appreciated) ways. The Inn remains beautifully kept and immaculately clean and literally seems to be getting better with time. The staff is always polite, courteous, and impeccably professional. Be sure to partake in the breakfast buffet at least once during your stay as the Belgian waffles and made to order omelettes just cannot be beat. Similarly, a casual lunch by the pool is something I would highly recommend as well. If you really want to feel as though you have escaped into a haven of rest and relaxation, do yourself a favor and book a stay at the Inn. You will be utterly amazed at how calm and peaceful and beautiful a place this truly is. We always are - and we will be planning an eighth visit soon.

Room Tip: We have had rooms with all possible views. The House View rooms are no doubt the best - but come at...

The Inn on Biltmore Estate may be my favorite vacation spot. I have stayed on five different occasions, and I have never been disappointed. First, the views are lovely wherever one might stay. However, there is a $50 charge if you request a view (facing the Biltmore House and Antler Hill Village). Second, the entire facility is very clean, and the lovely sounds of classical music softly stimulate one's ears throughout the hotel. Third, the staff is quite pleasant and professional. In conclusion, I will suggests dining at Cedric's Tavern at Antler Hill as opposed to the Dining Room in the Inn. Although the dining room is a wonderful experience, younger crowds and twenty-something's may enjoy the pub over fine dining.

Room Tip: In the past, calling to reserve a room turned out cheaper than reserving a room on the website.

Why travel to France when the magnificent Biltmore Estate is in our own backyard, in Asheville, North Carolina! The 19th century tycoon George Vanderbilt completed his 250 room chateau in 1895 and it rivals the grand chateau of the Loire Valley. Set in 8,000 acres with the Blue Ridge Mountains looming in the background, the Biltmore Estate and Gardens is one of America's true treasures.

We spent two nights at the sumptuous and dignified Inn on Biltmore Estate in February after attending a memorial service for a relative in Greenville, S.C. Winter rates were $139 for a drop-dead gorgeous room, with beautiful views and terrific service from the entire hotel staff.
You'll miss the famous Biltmore Gardens in full bloom, but you'll save over 50% over peak season rates, and the Conservatory at the back of the gardens is in full bloom year round with tropical palms and an outstanding orchid collection.

The Dining Room at the Inn is quite a pricey affair, but both the Bistro at the Winery, and Cedric's Tavern at Antler Hill Village offer excellent fare at more reasonable prices. Then, of course the delightful town of Asheville itself is a mere five miles away and offers all kinds of alternative dining options.

Do spring for the admission to the Estate, which also includes a visit to the Winery at Antler Hill Village, where an impressive free wine tasting is included. Biltmore has its own vineyards not only on the property, but also in Napa Valley, California, and the selection of wines offered during the tasting spree will tickle your tastebuds and loose up your wallet!

Room Tip: You won't find a bad room in the house here!

Definitely a worthwhile stay. The room was superb and the convenience to the superb restaurant and the estate was welcome. Although we didn't participate, there are numerous activities available (for a fee) if you are going to stay for a couple of days. Get the package that includes the valet parking, breakfast and estate self-tour.
