Great family run place that is a true pleasure to support. They make their own excellent and unusual salsas, the portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. Even the rice is great. Just one minute from I - 40 with lots of parking. An unpretentious, down home kind of place. Try the Molcajete with steak, fajitas, or the grilled steak wrap.

A great looking building sat on the edge of the highway - you can't miss it. It has an outside dining area looking towards the mountains - great for warm days as we just had when we visited.
The menu is extensive and good value. Shame about the name since the beer menu is just not up to scratch for Asheville.... what only one local brew !!!!
Very enjoyable atmoshpere and a great palce to stop for lunch... if only for the holiday snaps of the building and the fifties diner feel inside. Good food and authentic California style. Well done N and B !!

Disguised as a 50's diner, this is some of the best Mexican we've had. Highly recommend the California and Light burritos! Chips come with bean dip, but there's a salsa bar by the door with 4 or 5 different salsas to try. Incredibly cheap for the amount of food you get. We could only finish half of our burritos. Incredibly fresh and delicious!

Great food and service. They were especially accommodating to our 9 month old. The steak and chicken fajitas with bacon and jalapeño were delicious and the Mexico City tacos got two thumbs up as well!

We were just passing through Asheville and went here due to Tripadvisor reviews. It did not disappoint. Everything was delicious from margarita to the salsa. The taco salad with shredded beef was almost the best I ever had! Steak tacos were great also. Would be a regular place for us if we lived here!!
