“Nice find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

We tried Brioso based on a recommendation. Did not check trip advisor, just went. Glad we did. Service was attentive. Tea glass never got empty. Had the mozzarella appetizer. It was good and served with a richtomato sauce. One in the party had the butternut squash ravioli and it was excellent. Another had rigatoni pasta with a delcious alfredo sauce. I had the angel hair with the arrabiatta sauce. Simple and very tasty. Wanted to try desserts but was too full. Guess we'll have to come back.

“Top quality food, good prices, poor wine selection, ok service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

Have eaten here about 10 times. We like it a lot, cant understand why its not packed with the freshly prepared local ingredients. Food has always been excellent, pasta is made when you order it, who else does that? Tastes that fresh as well. Salads and apps are excellent as well. Service is usually great, sometimes just ok. I think the wine list is hurting them, its weak. At least in out view as i prefer a bottle more than 20-25 to get a better tasting wine in a resturant after the markup. If they had better wine we would eat here more often. Came in saturday 12/22 hours said open till 10 but we saw them turn 2 tables away starting at 9:15, too bad for the owners. Staff was sitting around mostly. Overall we would HIGHLY recommend a visit to try some fresh delicious italian at a good price!!

Recently visited Asheville with my family and had the pleasure of dining at Brioso. Service and food was excellent and dishes were reasonably priced.

“Two thumbs up for Briosco's”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

Dining at Briosco's was a most enjoyable addition to our recent trip to beautiful Asheville. Fast, friendly service and great food at reasonable prices. My wife and I especially liked the homemade soup and fresh baked bread as a starter for the tasty pasta. We are looking forward to a return visit to this restaurant.

“Much improved now and varied entree menu”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2012

My first visit to Brioso was a disappointment. Few items on the menu---mostly pastas---and the sauce cost extra. They have totally revamped their menu and now it ranks with some of the finer restaurants in Asheville. When we went last week, the restaurant was filled with couples and many ladies' groups out dining. One caveat is the noise from the high ceilings, concrete floors, and no baffles there. However, the food is so tasty you forget about it pretty quickly. The restrooms are spotless---another sign of a good place. Servers were more than helpful and checked to make sure the food was to our liking. Go back to Briosos. You'll like it now.
