Description: What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!

Ordered the fried green tomatoes, smashed sweet potatoes, honey-glazed fruit, and a Moonswine Mary. All very good!

“Excellent food and service!!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

My husband and I visit Tupelo Honey frequently and I have to say we have never left disappointed or hungry. The selection and portions are plentiful. My favorite is the crab cakes, they are some of the best in town and have lots of chunky crab meat not a lot of filler. My husband loves the Saltimbocca chicken with mashed cauliflower. Be careful you will fill up on the wonderful homemade biscuits before your meal arrives. Every thing is great. I also love the sweet potato pancakes. The wait staff is always great. A lot of them have even there a long time, they know what their doing! This place comes highly recommended from me and my husband frequently around town. It's great to live in a town with such great restaurants!!

“Good food, good price, good service”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Good food at a good price, with good service. The selection of craft beer was a bit limited by Asheville standards, but large enough to find something to match the meal. They even managed to make the outdoor seating area pleasant in spite of being right next to the strip mall parking lot and near a busy highway.

“Top Notch All The Way”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

From the moment we walked in the front door and were greeted like family we knew we were in for a treat. I think our waitress was Rhonda. She was fantastic....so upbeat as she described the specials. Such as that their fruit drinks contained Blue Birds and sunshine and she had such a wonderful smile. Then came the complimentary biscuits w their homemade blueberry preserve. They were delicious...so light and fluffy. For breakfast we had Eggs Betty (eggs Benedict). We got them w asparagus rather than meat. We also had a house tradition - the pumpkin pancakes. We wanted only one rather than two, that are usually in the order. It covered the plate and was amazingly fat and fluffy. We ordered it w maple syrup. Do yourself a favor and get an order. How can you go wrong w pumpkin? We can't wait to return. They are located south of Asheville a few miles.

“Excellent Experience”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

There was a 10-20 minute wait for a table for four, but it was well worth it. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I would definitely recommend this establish to anyone looking for a good, quality, reasonably priced meal.
