The place is a bit difficult to find, but well worth it. Saw an opening night performance that would only be attempted in a diverse, inquiring community.

If you are in Asheville, do not miss a play at North Carolina Stage Company. A small house with the audience on three sides of the stage. Always great performances. Provacative work. The only professional stage company in town. Quality folks. Go see whatever is playing.

Attended a play here. Seating is on 3 sides of the stage arranged in stepped stadium form. Regular chairs not theater chairs. Performance was good. It has a rep of having decent performances.

I was very impressed with the actors and how well they played different parts on stage with little props. I was amazed. Very talented actors!

Enjoyed thoroughly attending a performance of "The Twelves Dates of Christmas" during a recent time spent in Asheville. The theatre staff were pleasant and decent to interface with when learning more about the show and then procuring the tickets. Although time-wise we did not come early enough to catch 'the vibe' of the place with patrons there, those attending the show were repectful and appreciative of the performance given that evening. The theatre itself is tucket in behind primary buildings on a main street yet easy enough to 'spy' and get too. Parking is very 'downtown' so it would be recommended to leave your vehicle elsewhere (if staying nearby, et al) and walk/public trans your way there.

There was a little bar/servery at hand for a coffee, etc.

Support local theatre/arts/enteretainment if/when you can. Definitely WILL support this again!
