“Pleasant place for lunch”
Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

Had the daily lunch sandwich special which included a small cup of soup. Was adequate but small for the price. Service was attentive but not excessive.

“All other meals in Asheville paled by comparison!”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

We had just arrived in Asheville for a mini-vacation staying at cabins somewhat out from downtown. Researching is part of the fun in planning trips and we had a list of places to try given that the area is known as a foodie town. But the first night we wanted something nearby and I had noticed Chef Mo's on the way in. There were four of us to satisfy so we checked it out on line - diverse menu, good reviews. Let's try it. OMG! The food gods were shining down on us. Everything was wonderful from the service, to the food, to Chef Mo himself. I wanted something lighter so opted for the grilled Caesar salad and fried oysters. Both as good as I've ever had. I think I make a mean vitello piccata myself but the one my husband ordered took it to another plane. Our server was the only one in the dining room that Tuesday night as the other server was taking care of a party in the back. No problem since we were in no rush and he made sure that he was checking in on us. And as we continued to gush over the food, Chef Mo came out to receive the accolades in person. What a charmer! The only disappointment is that Chef Mo's is 4 hours from Atlanta! And that no other restaurant we visited while in Asheville even came close to it.

“Delicious and Dependable”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

Three of us recently enjoyed our dinner, leaving clean plates all around. Three different entrees, tasted by all, and all pronounced superior.
My favorite spot for dining: ample parking, not downtown, cordial welcome, excellent and attentive service. Gradual, ever-changing menu means there is always something new for regulars to try.
Did not see Chef Mo; probably his night off, which is an additional tribute to the training of his staff and chefs, for the food was super, as always.
New item on the menu, Chicken breast roulade, was superb.

“Fine Food and Service at Reasonable Price”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

Our first visit to Chef Mo's was a flavorful and comfortable experience. Food was great and service was excellent.....fine menu with lots of variety. Not in the central city, more like a district restaurant, but worth the short drive.

“Easter breakfast”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

We enjoyed delicious white wine sangrias while waiting for our entrees. The waiter was a delight, the food came very quickly and we were thrilled with our choices (huevos rancheros). Chef Mo even came around to welcome us. I definitely recommend this place!
