“Crazy GOOD~~~”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

Skip the typical garbage that the hotels dish out. Run to this place! There will be a line on weekends so plan accordingly. The Huevos Rancheros are the best that I have ever eaten!! (And I used to live out-west). My wife had the corn-meal pancakes and they were INCREDIBLE.
Service is great, music is fine, the whole place has a great vibe. Very eclectic mix of people...the way it should be; And it all works perfectly!

“You don't have to wait for Sunny Point!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2013

Sunny Point is located in the heart of West Asheville. You can find it by the crowd that waits out front every morning under the trees while the hospital staff provides coffee. You may also stroll through the sprawling, organic garden out back while you wait. The cafe is casual and mostly full of trustafarians and hipsters, but if the smell of patchouli and tight jeans on boys doesn't ruin the experience for you, the food is amazing. My favorites in the morning are the breakfast sandwich which comes on a croissant with cheese, bacon and egg, (tofu bacon is available of course) or the Huevos Rancheros. The coffee is like good diner coffee and the mimosas are large. The breakfast is very popular and worth it, but equally amazing are the lunches and dinners which don't require a long wait. The quality of the food is 5 star with decent wine and the relaxed atmosphere of a cafe. For lunch or dinner, I recommend the fried green tomato sandwich. Goat cheese melts into the fried, cornbread batter of the tart and sweet, green tomato. This is topped with a roasted red pepper aioli and lettuce. Most of the vegetables and herbs come from the organic garden out back. Save room for desert or get it to go!

“Who could ask for anything more on POINT?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

I had the southern omelette with pimento cheese and bacon. The bacon at Sunny Point is truly meat candy. It is amazingly delicious and unique! Everything about Sunny Point is unique. Great atmosphere, always busy (but never slow), and always wonderful! Been here multiple times and plan to come back time and again!

“Still talking about it...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

My husband and I were vacationing in Asheville last week and met up with some local friends for the Foothills Brewing Company dinner at the Cafe. What a fun event! We had such a wonderful time, learning about the different brews that Foothills offers and having the Sunny Point Cafe chef explain the recipes and pairings to us. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Asheville!

“Great, fresh breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

Stopped in on a recent trip to Asheville. Wonderful breakfast! The home made sausages and local eggs were hits. The most memorable item I ordered was the pint-glass sized mimosa. Quite a good deal and tasty! (Just...you might want to have a DD).
