My new favorite place for sure! Breakfast all day - SO GOOD! We waited 30 minutes (9:45 on a Sunday morning) but it was worth it. I would wait much longer just to eat here again. Getting to sit outside on a loyely day and enjoy the atmosphere and walking their gardens made the wait fly by. The food was absolutely fresh and so great. I'm a vegetarian, but husband isn't so trying to find a good compromise is always tough - not here! We both enjoyed our food and look forward to returning again soon.

We are locals and regulars at Sunny Point Cafe...eating there at least once a week. While we love the breakfast, our favorite time to visit is for dinner. It is hardly ever crowded on a weeknight, and they also accept reservations on weekends, so we call ahead and have our table waiting for us when we arrive. We recently booked a 14-person table for a birthday party on the patio and had a blast. The service is always great, and we are treated like family.

Sunny Point is one of those rare gems that you have to come back to time and time again to experience their wide array of creativity with food. Belinda and April are a mother/daughter team who own and operate the restaurant. Their culinary creations are beautiful and even more fun to eat!

Everything we have ever ordered at Sunny Point has been delicious, but here are some of our favorites: Black Bean Tostada with Grilled Shrimp (the flavors are divine), Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich (exceptional when you add bacon and tomato), the Dynamite Roll (most delicious sushi roll in Asheville), Warm Chicken Salad (the sesame pecan twirls are outrageous), B.L.A.T. (this sandwich will rock your world), Huevos Rancheros (the best breakfast anywhere), Wild Salmon with Risotto (one of their specials which we love dearly), and last but not least....DESSERT! The chocolate cake is to die for and the apple pie is perfectly flaky, slightly sweetened...and oh, so delicious. But our favorite dessert is their creme brulee, which is adorned with fresh berries and homemade whipped cream. Just perfect.

Overrated establishment. Came here because of the high TA and Yelp reviews. Service was weak (coffee unfilled for over 10 minutes). Pancakes so dry they were crumbly. Eggs bland, grits watery and flavorless. Biscuit wasn't anything to write home about...especially considering we're in the South. The sausage was good, though!

The only thing keeping this from a 1 star review is the inventive and unique menu. If only the items lived up to the hype...

Loved the menu, wasn't busy when I was there so had no problem getting a table (around 10:30 mid week) Absolutely the BEST tea and JAM I have had!! I am so impressed with the food in Asheville, who knew??? Fresh and delicious, yes, it was worth the drive!
