My husband and I first read about this restaurant in the New York Times' 36 Hours book and it does NOT disappoint. For someone who's knowledge of Indian food didn't extend past Tikki Masala, my eyes were opened to a world of delicious culinary tastes. I seriously don't have enough good things to say--this food is amazing. We live almost two hours from Asheville but seriously can't go more than a month without this amazing food.
Our favorites are:
Bombay Chili Cheese Fries
Sloppy Jai (our all-time favorite)
Kathi Kabob Roll
We've also had a few of the daily Thalis and they were amazing!
And DO NOT neglect their dessert menu--the mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches are TO DIE.
