Asheville Downtown..........there you find Chai Pani, a restaurant, serving Indian Street Food. Very affordable and tasty Indian Cuisine! They get their fresh produce everyday from the local farmers and they do not use any artificial flavors in any of their dishes. They roast and grind their own spices.
All chaats are available........bhel puri, dahi sev puri, papdi chaat, samosa, samosa chaat, pakoras, okra fries and masala fries tickle your taste buds.
Uthappam..........savory crepes, made with rice and lentils are served delectably with vegetable toppings and paneer topping. These are served with sambar and chutneys.
Their thaali meals are very famous. Fragrant basmati rice with dhal, roti, raita, subzi and sald along with roasted papad is served. They have kids meal too, with limited portions. They have salads also, and their beverages mango lassi and nimbu paani ( fresh squeezed lime with sugar and a dash of salt ) are very good.
The decor looks very very indianish and makes you feel, you are in India, enjoying their street food!!
