“No bad choices!”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

We drive to Asheville to celebrate every birthday/annivesary,etc. and Chai Pani is always on the list of "must eat while we're here." We have had almost everything on the menu, and it is always delicious! Close your eyes and point - you can't go wrong. The quality is excellent, the food fresh and the staff friendly and helpful. It is a busy place, but so charming!

“Indian Street Food”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Simple food one would get on the street in India. Bombay Chili Cheese Fries are fantastic. There's also a traditional Thali meal with daily specials.

“One of the best stops in Asheville”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We've eaten our way through the entire menu over the last couple of years and are very impressed with every creation coming out of Chai Pani. They're quality is amazing and the team that takes care of you are as hospitable and friendly as you'll find. This is our go-to restaurant in Asheville.

“"Not your average Indian"”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

It was the best Indian I have ever had. The fried okra were amazing. Even if you are not typically an okra fan, these will make you reconsider. The lamb chili cheese fries, Awesome. We ordered five different items from the menu to share. Each was delicious and the prices were great. Chai Pani is a definite must for my list as one of the "must have" when I travel to Asheville. Great food, good service.

“Indian Street Food”
Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

Definitely try this eclectic Indian restaurant in downtown Asheville. Tasty menu selections and a must try matchstick okra fries. Indoor and outdoor seating available, chai tea drinks, and full bar.
