The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice enough, however we felt the prices were a bit high. The food was well prepared, but nothing exceptional.

The drinks were also on the expensive side. After delivering our food, the server never returned until we had to track her down for the check...we had to ask another server for our check.

If you want to eat while at the Estate, there are several options at the main building that would be a better choice.

We had lunch here during our trip, it was very good food! I had the BBQ sliders and they were delicious, service was good and in true Biltmore fashion it was very well decorated, clean and a good atmosphere!

Cedric's is named after the Vanderbilt family's Saint Bernard and this place is top dog! The atmosphere is casual but classy. The service excellent and the food choice. Especially enjoyed deviled eggs, pimento cheese, pickles and Lusty Monk. Others in our party said the burger was the best they'd had.

Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and live music. Very nice casual atmosphere. We were there on a Friday evening and only had a 10 min wait to be seated.

After a great day enjoying the Biltmore Estate, we went to check out Cedric's. We were worried about the wait since we did not have reservations for dinner, but the host assured us it would be 45 minutes maximum for a table for two. There was a band in the square so we did not mind waiting initially. After the initial 45, we were assured it would not be much longer. We checked back repeatedly, but the answer was always the same. We did not leave because he kept assuring us we were getting a table soon. After an hour and 40 minutes of waiting, we finally sat down. Right before we sat down, a couple came in and the host immediately told them to sit in the bar, which apparently is first come first serve. We were astounded that he told them this but failed to mention it to us.

The food was overpriced but decent. Our waitress was very nice as was the patio we sat on. I would suggest reservations or to find a seat at the bar. No matter what you do don't believe a word the host says about wait times! Everyone around us waiting for a table waited about twice as long as he said!!
