This place is located next to the winery in the estate. It is pub like atmosphere and a lovely place to rest and have an early dinner. I dined on the Shepard's Pie and it was not a disappointment. I do market survey on Shepard's pie when I travel. Each place puts their unique twist on it. There are other delightful things on the menu. I would recommend this place as an experience and a rest stop. Very enjoyable.

Agree with almost everyone = Okay food, not okay prices.
We sat at the bar, which made for quicker service which was great as we were exhausted at the end of the day. Had shepherd's pie and the hamburger. Both were good to very good, but at that price was looking for extraordinary and outstanding! But lets face it, if you are here you can probably afford one unreasonably priced meal. Especially if you are staying on the grounds it was worth the extra money to not have to drive into town, but instead hop on the shuttle. Didn't have to pay for parking, and no DUI worries!!! Would do it again, just have slightly lower expectations and a slightly smaller wallet on exiting.

During our visit to the Biltmore Estates, we decided to eat here instead of near the home. Food was excellent tasting but very costly. Although you did get a free small jar of the Biltmore homemade pickles. The waiter was going to get us the recipe, but it never happened. This should not be the choice for a family, way toooo expensive.

Our 2nd visit to Cedric's Tavern and we strongly recommend coming to Antler Village on the Biltmore Estate to eat here. On a perfect sunny day we ate outside overlooking the village. Peaceful, just a perfect setting. Megan, our server, was the absolute best!! We started off with Fried Cheese Curds and the flavor was right up there with the very best. We 'split' the large Shepherd's Pie (no extra charge) and two individual servngs were brought out. We know that the servings are extremely large here and "splitting' may be the best way to order for those not extremely hungry. It certainly cuts the cost in half as well. The Shepherd's pie was very rich and delicious. For dessert we again split a large serving of Vanilla Cheesecake topped with peach and caramel. Just superb!! No waiting and plenty of tables on a Tuesday around noon. Have a great time!
