We stopped by Cedric's after our tour of the Biltmore House. We arrived before 5pm and the restaurant was empty, but they wouldn't seat us because we didn't have a reservation. They did say we could sit at a table in the bar area if one was available. There was, and from there service was excellent. Loved the fresh pretzel rolls and mustard-butter brought out as a complimentary appetizer. Locally brewed beers on tap plus hot and crispy fish and chips were all excellent. Husband had a creative red snapper dish. Kids liked the corn dog bites and hamburger. Do agree with other reviewers that food is pricey, but we did enjoy our meal.

We had the opportunity to eat at Cedrics after our tour of the Biltmore and the winery. We arrived shortly before the official dinner hour, so there was no line and we were seated promptly. Lynn, our server, greeted us with a smile and friendly conversation. She was efficient and her service was excellent. The dinner menu was quite extensive and there was something for everyone on the list. The fish and chips was a hearty portion and quite tastey. Others in the party had their steak, burger and chicken. All were served hot and promptly. The pimento cheese spread was delicious. All in all, we had a delicious meal and would most certainly return there on our next visit. The facility was well maintained and very clean.

Great atmosphere at Cedric's. there was music at night. Food was very good. We just was to grab a hamburger. The price was $18. Fish and chips was around $32. Still very good quality.

We had made dinner reservations at Cedric's Tavern on the night of our recent Christmas Evenings walk-through. There were good and bad points.

On the plus side, our waitress was very friendly and attentive and everything looked clean and well-maintained. The person I was dining with also enjoyed their meal.

On the negative side, my meal was very bland. That might be because I requested that the chicken not have the sauce/gravy that came on top, but they shouldn't count on such a thing for all the flavor. Another negative was that the AC was on and blowing right on me - after dark in mid-November. The last negative was the cost. My bland chicken and a soda cost me over $40 after tip. Ouch.
