“Delicious!!!! and open late.....”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

This is a great little coffee shop and the perfect place to stop for feeding that sweet tooth! My wife and I dropped by recently on a trip to Asheville to have some coffee and dessert after dinner. The place is very cozy, has a pretty cool vibe, decent seating (both upstairs and downstairs) and the food/drinks are outstanding. We both order Americanos (very good) and each had a dessert: chocolate cake and chocolate mousse. I can say that both desserts were excellent, especially the mousse! Love that the place is open late and has a focus on local produce. Definitely worth a visit!

“Was really looking forward to the Brownies”
Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

The Brownie was just average and a little tough. I was let down...dont get me wrong was just expecting much more. Nice shop and i did get the last Brownie on the tray so it wasnt the freshest. I found it a bit tough to park close to the place too. Overall i would come back and try something else.

“A must while in Asheville....”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go. Very unique menu choices and incredible french press coffee to go with your dessert unless you'd like to dive into a liquid truffle which is an experience in itself. The staff are helpful and friendly. Just hop in line and walk by the display of sweet goodness that calls your name from the other side until you see something you can't resist and then find a cozy corner to enjoy with a friend, family or a good book. All I can say is YOU WILL ENJOY!!

“A must do in Asheville”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

This is a favorite of mine while in Asheville. Everything is delicious! If you're a chocolate fan, you will love it! Must try's are any of the hot chocolates (very rich) and the desserts (lavender or chocolate creme brulle are my favs). They have a wide variety of items...teas, wine, baked goods, truffles & handmade chocolates, and a nice variety of upscale chocolate bars from all over the world. It's a nice place to hang out with friends and everyone in your group will find something to their liking.

There is usually a line and it gets quite busy at night when everything else is closing down/late night/after dinner. It's a very lively, crowded place, which is fun, but the word "lounge" conjures up dimly lit and quiet to me. This is where they lost points on atmosphere for me. Seating gets packed, so you might have to wait for a table or share...usually people are very friendly and don't mind.

The sipping chocolate was wonderful, as was the carrot cake. The only drawback is that this place was quite busy so it was a bit competitive to get a seat.
