Excellent !! motel was great and very clean. Service was great front desk was very helpful ,friendly and professional. The room was great, bed was great, Lots of choices for breakfast and also I thought the price was great. The location was not to close and not to far from town so I thought it was great. I don't think you could go wrong staying here and I know you could not beat it for the money. As you can tell I thought it was Great .

This was our first time to Asheville and we found this Country Inn & Suites based on the reviews that we saw on Trip Advisor. What a great place to stay, the staff was phenomenal, the rooms were very comfortable (and quiet), and the location was perfect (note: not on the main drag so it was extra quiet -- no traffic going by, very safe, etc.). I believe it was Mckinley that checked us in and she did a great job -- very efficient and quick to offer up a great local restaurant (Pack's Tavern) where we could catch the games, get some great food and some local craft beers. We had a 10+ hour drive to get to Asheville so it was great to have such a pleasant person check us in. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.

Stayed here on our first night from Virginia on our cross country trip. The room was clean and pleasantly furnished. A great first night to what we hope is an incredible trip! Would recommend for anyone looking for a clean, quit place.

I reserved 29 rooms for our groups' trip to Asheville and from the first phone call received excellent customer service. The manager, Anthony Simmons, was professional and courteous. Everyone in the group loved the rooms, which were all clean and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The handicap room was wonderful with a jacuzzi!

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at the Country Inn & Suites this past weekend (March 21-25). I had read many reviews online about different hotels in the Asheville area and finally decided to just pick one. I got a good deal through travelocity and thought this was a decent pick since it had been ranked #2 out of 58. I can see why it got its ranking.
We arrived very late Friday night and were greeted by a smiling face and a very quick check in. The girl at the desk told us what time breakfast was in the morning for weekends and on weekdays and also told us about the free cookies and coffee available 24/7. Our room was clean and our view was decent. We looked out over the front of the hotel from the third floor, in the distance we could see mountains. Not a parking lot view but nothing spectacular. I don't think the location of the hotel would really give any room a spectacular view though. We had a tv in the area with the bed and another tv in the area with the couch that looked like it could be a pull-out bed. Both TV's were flat screen and included HBO. The bed was firm but not overly hard and the pillows were very soft and comfortable. The shower and bathroom was very nice and spacious for what I had expected. The hot and cold water were available very quickly and didn't seem to run out. The only complaint about our room was that the walls were fairly thin. Our first morning we heard a mans deep voice in the next room and a childs voice also. That was the only time we had heard anything through the walls but they didn't seem to be talking loudly, it seemed to be thin walls. Breakfast the next day was very impressive. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffle maker, mini muffins, mini bagels, a few different varieties of cereal, and a few different varieties of juices. They also had a fer different types of jam, butters, peanut butter, and cream cheese. I feel like they really tried to accommodate everyone with this hot breakfast. The staff working in the dining area were very nice and attentive, making sure the food stayed full and fresh and also clearing tables so guests didn't have to.
We had originally booked our trip to check out on the 24th but we enjoyed our trip so much we decided to stay an extra night. The women at the front desk were very helpful and friendly assisting us in keeping the same room for an extra night. Country Inn & Suites will certainly be a spot that we try to stop at for our vacations from now on, it was a great experience!

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms face the back parking lot and what looks like a scrap metal place. Even number ro...

As simple as the review title. We had a wonderful stay at this location for Country Inn. We know our way around the area, quite well and this provided very convenient access to all the places we wanted to visit - Downtown, Maggie Valley, Fletcher, Waynesville, Weaverville. Staff was excellent, and the morning breakfast (included) was very pleasant (not a gourmet variety, but really good for our "get up and go" days. Rooms well appointed and comfortable. Not much of a view and site ambiance, but we weren't looking for that, this time. Amenities were limited (exercise room not real big, pool was closed for the season), but we weren't seeking them either.
Rate was quite reasonable. Would not hesitate to stay here, again.

Room Tip: Our room was on the second floor and had easy access to stair to lobby. Hotel generally very quiet i...

The front desk staff are very cordial and helpful. Rooms are large and very clean. The ladies who operate the kitchen for the morning hot breakfast were very attentive to whether guests were satisfied with their meals. I consider this hotel to be one of the best that is outside of downtown and it is perfect if you plan to spend time in Asheville's West End Historic District, which was the primary purpose of my visit.
