We stayed in room 406, 2 queens. They accomodated our request for a quiet upper floor location. I was impressed with the updated room interior. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. Now for the negatives. The room doors are very heavy like fire doors. They close very hard and loud unless exert some strength to ease them shut. Otherwise you will hear neighbor doors slamming. The slamming doors even shake the walls. The breakfast bar was standard. It was crowded and difficult to gather your items as the utensils are placed in various areas around the bar instead of at one end. We didn't even see the oatmeal and cereal station positioned on the opposite side of the room in the corner until after selecting other items. The second afternoon we returned key card reader failed at the entry door at the side parking lot so we were forced to walk all the way around to the front door. The windows wouldn't stay open. They too were heavy and wouldn't even stay up an inch to allow some cool air into the room. We had to set the a/c to 69F just to try and keep the room from getting stuffy at night. The hotel location allows for easy access to I-40. If if wasn't for the slamming doors I would stay again.

Very nice hotel and very convenient to the highways. Easy to get to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock, visitor's center, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice. Unfortunately, there is not much insulation between the walls so conversations next door could be heard. This could be an issue if your neighbors had energetic children or if you had noisy neighbors. This was not an issue for us but we heard people commenting on the "paper thin walls".

I stayed here with my wife, while passing through to go to Nashville Tn. I was tired and looking for a nice place to stay and found this gem in Asheville. The hotel is clean and inviting, The desk clerk Jessica was one of the niceset cutomer service professionals that I have met. There were cookies and coffee that my wife absolutely enjoyed. The room was clean and the bed was confortable and had a wonderful sleep. The bathroom was a good size and the shower had plenty of hot water. The stay at this hotel was great and it was a very good experience.....HAPPY TRAVELS!!!

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay at this hotel for one night as we were traveling through Asheville. We arrived at our room late in the evening and the young lady at the front desk was great. The lobby smelled wonderful and there were cookies and coffee.

It was a Sunday night and we had not had dinner. Luckily there was a Cracker Barrel right down from the hotel and that suited us fine for a quick, dependable bite to eat.

Our room was quiet and comfortable. The beds were nice and clean.
The breakfast in the morning was great with everything you need. The young lady who was cleaning the breakfast area was efficient and very polite.

It was a great experience and we were well rested for a day of sight seeing. We will definitely stay at hotel again in the future. :)

Bed and breakfast service in a modern, well decorated, impeccably clean hotel. Variety of items on breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. Front desk staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I called after we left because I thought I had left my cell phone in the room. When the housekeeping staff didn't find the phone, the front desk associate (Jessica) performed a detailed search of the room herself to ensure that the phone wasn't in the room. That is service above and beyond. Thank you.

Our fifth day of a traveling vacation brought us to this wonderful inn. We were greeted with warmth and hospitality that exceeded any other place we have ever stayed. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and well beyond our expectations. The package we had purchased was economical, and served our purpose well. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and we look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 4th floor that was very quiet and restful.

By far the best stop on our trip. Good prices, very clean, well-decorated rooms. The front desk staff made our stay 5 star - they were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful with directions. We brought a small cooler with blue ice. They even offered to put the blue ice in a freezer so it would be frozen when we left.
