I was not sure about staying a little way out of town but I was surprised what was around the hotel. Clean, comfort and a good night sleep. The room was large and clean pool was great for kids. Breakfast was crowded and a little slow but a great stay

We stayed here because my girlfriend was getting married nearby and had reserved a block of rooms for us. The price was great, my husband and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the bed was VERY comfortable, and we were thoroughly pleased with how we were treated as guests!

I had a solo stay at the hotel while I attended and participated in a nearby horse show. The hotel is situated in a "fun", village setting. Lots of restaurants, shops and a movie theater in easy walking distance. The room was clean and well appointed. I highly recommend it.

We recently were in serious need of a mini-vacation... one where you don't spend two days driving or flying to have a few days at your vacation spot. So, off we went to Asheville, NC which is approx. an hour north of us. We set up reservations at this wonderful Hilton Inn including a reservation for a couples massage. We could not have had more fun! The Hilton never disappoints, with beautiful interior and friendly staff. The Sensations Spa is located on the main / lobby floor so is very convenient. Once we checked into our wonderful room with great beds, and beautiful bath (but didn't have the best view because we did not upgrade to a "Mountain view"), we went to the spa for a couples massage. The Spa is actually a floor below lobby level, with stone walls, and so peaceful. The therapists (LMT) were very professional, quiet, and skilled. Afterwards we enjoyed the sauna and then the hot tub and pool. Because we chose the weekdays to go, there were very few if any other guests in these areas when we were there! The hotel is set in a "village" setting with attached free parking garage as well as door side on-street parking, both regular and handicap. There are two car charging stations right in front of the hotel entrance. The village has everything: 15 screen movie theater, small unique gift shops including an Orvis that is all brand new. There is a Cold Stone creamery, YoYo frozen yogurt, and several restaurant fares from raw bar, steaks, a great Mexican eatery, Italian 4-star restaurant, along with a very nice restaurant and bar in the Hilton. We spent a whole day at the Biltmore Estate the following day, and then on to the Pisgah forest and horseback riding the following day before heading home. I was de-stressed and happy for days afterwards!!

Room Tip: If you are like us (from the Blue Ridge mountain area) then paying the upgrade for a mountain-view room in unnecessary. If you are from other parts of the country, pay the little extra as they are just beautiful especially in the fall.
