We took side trip to see bonsai expo, well worth the trip!! Could have spent all day there, looked like a lot to see and do. Lots of weddings as well-very pretty.

“Most Varied of Species”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

The Bonsai gardens are not to be missed as they have been cultivated for a long time and presented here for a long time.
The flowers, too, lend a Monet quality to the drive or walk. The brick pathways are reminiscent of English Gardens too.

“Fall at the Arboretum is beautiful!”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Great nature trails and Visitor's Center. Unusual Bonsai Tree exhibit is awesome - and fall colors are beautiful (October 22nd). The nature trail to the Greenhouse is well kept and easy to walk on.

“Especially enjoyed the bonsais”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Gentle easy stroll around the grounds, nice to be out and in the woods. But the bonsai's are the highlight. Nice winding display area perfect of admiring and strolling and chatting.

“Learned about trees.”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

We had friends sign us up for a three hour class at the arboretum
and had a brief presentation before spending the balance of the afternoon walking and looking at various trees. Our guide, I think it was Jim, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. This was a good afternoon.
