Description: Nona Mia Market, Deli & Pizzeria will be closing its doors as of Tuesday, June 30, 2015. It's been a phenomenal twelve years for us here in West Asheville...and we want to take this opportunity to thank all of our patrons for your support, your friendship, and for all the wonderful memories we'll be taking away from our time in business here. We will be taking time off to (finally) relax and enjoy family. Although Nona Mia is now a memory, that doesn't mean we've distanced ourselves permanently from Asheville...we hope to resurface somewhere, soon, in some capacity. The Farmhouse Pie has not died! We wish love and good health, happiness and harmony, and peace within, for all our friends and former patrons. And one last time, we wish you...Buon appetito!

We have eaten in this restaurant since they were located elsewhere, and have always enjoyed the food. Family friendly, always busy, and reasonably priced. I tend to stick with the basics when dining here, but on more than one occasion, I have ordered dinner specials and not been disappointed. My favorite is the thinner crust pizza, as it is not as filling.
My only complaint would be the high level of noise created by the cement floors and high ceilings.

Had the Margherita pizza with fresh tomatoes and pepperoni added. Very good taste with the fresh mozzarella. The pepperoni topping seemed to be a bit scant, however. Tiramisu was awesome!

food is bland even though they proudly say, "its made fresh daily". Italian's would be so insulted. Also pricey, bread is $4.50, don't ask for butter is a .50 cent charge, lemons by request. Also only 2 waiters so good luck getting another drink....

We were traveling north after a vacation, and were staying the night in a local hotel. We found this place on a recommendation from the front desk clerk, who said it was her favorite place. Wow! We loved it. Terrific thick and thin crust pizzas, plus a great looking pasta menu. There was something for everyone. Our pizza was literally spilling over with toppings...I would say its one of the best pizzas we have ever shared...including in Italy.
