Take this tour and you'll get a taste of what a true story-teller is. You feel like an old friend offered you a ride then showed you the sweet spots around town and told you the inside scoop. The tour is very knowledgeable and has a hop-on hop-off feature. This tour gives history a face and made the buildings talk. He even told stories while we had to wait for a freight train to pass in the River Arts district. Enjoyable for all.

We took the ghost tour with Jen and Honey. Not the scariest tour we have been on, but definitely interesting. It was nice with children to be on a trolley instead of a walking tour. Would recommend to families with small children!

We take trolley tours of every city we visit when available, and this was the best we have ever experienced!!! "Uncle Ted" is an extremely knowledgeable, informative and fun tour guide with lots of insider information about Asheville, its history and its people. Even if you don't use it as a get-on-get-off service, the 1-1/2 hour tour is well worth $20 for the fantastic overview of the entire Asheville area. OUTSTANDING!!!

I try to take this tour whenever I visit a new city. I had emailed earlier, just to make sure they were dog friendly. They are.. The first day we took it for most of the ride with Dean, got off at the Biltmore Village and had a great lunch at the Cantina. Caught another trolley back to visitor center. Most tours, if a 2nd day is offered, have to be 2 consecutive days...not so for these. We took the 2nd day, a few days later, to the River Arts District. Our guides answered any of our questions and were very gracious and most even talked to our Springer, Tommy. I highly recommend this.

We started at the Grove Park Hotel with Dean who tried to be funny but failing that he was nice and informative, followed by Honey who was as sweet as her name implies and you could see really enjoyed her job. We stayed with Mary for only 1 stop got off quickly to wait for Uncle Ted who was a the last tour guide of the day and a great personality. He sounded like Sam Elliot which Made him a pleasure to listen to. Their stories varied which was interesting and I thought it was a great way to see Asheville.
