This tour of Asheville is worth every penny of its cost. Our driver Matt was informative with his own humorous and professional style. We learned so much about Asheville, its history, and its people, past and present. A pure delight. We highly recommend the red trolley as an introduction to Asheville.

We started out tour at the Visitor's Center, and chose Gray Line because it ran every 1/2 hour. The tour was very infomative, and since we got on and off it gave us experience with 2 different tour guide/drivers. Both were equally informative, but had their own style-nice. I think it was @ $18 (AAA discount), and worth the money and time.

This trolley tour was fantastic. It really enlightened me regarding what Asheville has to offer. The different districts were fab such as the Montford district or the River Arts District. The great thing is that every tour guide has different knowledge about Asheville.

ticket was good for two days..we rode the whole route, then got off at several stops and back on the trolley. The next day we shopped, ate lunch, visited the Thomas Wolfe home which was included in the trolley ticket price. All our drivers were very good and each added their own facts(?) and fun...very good way to learn about and to "see" Asheville.

We chose to start ours at the Grove Park Inn, was nice, the tour lasted about 90 minutes or more, we ended back up at the Grove Park for drinks and to watch a sunset. Found the tour very informative and we enjoyed our host. Don't remember his name, sorry but he was a retired flight attendant.
