Description: Chef & owner Brian Canipelli opened Cucina 24 in 2008 on Wall Street in the center of downtown Asheville, NC. Our kitchen is focused on melding the traditions and philosophies of Italian cookery with ingredients found in the mountains of the American South. We work closely with a number of area farms and our menus reflect produce that they bring to us.

What a great evening in Asheville....the Cucina 24 Team was gracious, friendly, and delivered GREAT food. The Chef's Tasting menu is well worth the price, and the timing of each course was perfect. Well Done!

I can't say enough about this restaurant! The atmosphere is amazing, if you're looking for a great romantic dinner. The menu was a slight confusing, but once the server explained it to is, it made perfect sense. I had the pork chop over collard greens paired with Lima beans. Before you start to think, "oh boring southern dish", think again. The pork shop was served "rack of lamb" style and was tender, juicy & full of unbelievable flavor. The greens were out of this world and the Lima beans were so tasty I almost forgot they were Lima beans. The owner/chef is a graduate of Johnson & Wales & it truly shows in the menu. The bar was wonderful, the bartender, also a graduate of Johnson & Wales, was a mixologist & it showed in the well prepared drinks. He knew what flavors matched the meal & truly enhanced our dining experience. If you're looking for amazing food, drinks and atmosphere, look no further! This is honestly the best restaurant I've ever dined at!! We will definitely be returning!!!

Fantastic dinner! The food was perfect, as was the selection. I would expect this caliper of restaurant in a much larger city. Well done! Certainly a hidden gem.

Great atmosphere, interesting food and good service. My special dietary needs were met pleasantly. Will be back for sure but will have cocktails somewhere else before we come. Pour was meager and very pricey.

We attempted to walk in on a Saturday night, but wait list was too long.(what were we thinking?) We returned on Sunday with a "Open Table" reservation at 7 pm, and it was very quiet.
Our waiter had a wealth of wine knowledge. We opted for a nice $68 Bold red to pair with our pasta dishes.
The food was perfectly proportioned and the pride in the presentation and flavor was evident. The after dinner, dessert wine was suggested by waiter and it rocked..Meal with bottle of wine, 2 after dinner drinks, and dessert.....$167 for two.. Yes, we splurged alittle on the vino. But you only live once. Very quiet, romantic atmosphere....we felt pampered.
