“Friendly B&B Owners”
Reviewed January 6, 2010

I recently stayed at the Pinecrest last week for 2 nights. The owner of the property is very friendly and helpful with providing information on things to do and how to get around in Asheville.

The B&B itself was okay, not the nicest B&B I have stayed in, but was very quiet. The water pressure in the shower was kind of lacking. The heating could have been better since the bathroom was freezing in the mornings and the room itself a bit chilly in the evenings (I stayed in the Vance room). The breakfasts, which are 2 courses, in the mornings were okay. The first morning, I was not too fond of the baked apple stuffed with granola drizzled with a yogurt sauce. I don't remember what the main course was that first morning. The second morning the breakfast was much better - sliced cantaloupe as an appetizer and a spinach cheese quiche served with ham and sliced tomatoes.

I think what makes Pinecrest a nice B&B are the owners who are very friendly and really adds charm to the place.

We had a lovely stay. The innkeepers made us feel like family...prepared amazing breakfasts and giving us great ideas for activities and restaurants. We will never stay anywhere else in Asheville. The home was gorgeous as were the grounds. I can't wait to go back in the Spring!

Loved the convenience to downtown. Also nice and close for daytrips to places like Biltmore Estate or Chimney Rock. After a day of sightseeing, very nice to relax in the comfortable and quaint atmosphere at Pinecrest. Enjoyed the spacious bedroom and lovely sunroom facing the backyard. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I stayed at Pinecrest B&B on a previous visit to the Asheville area. When my husband and I decided to visit the area, I knew we would be staying at Pinecrest. Wonderful location, accommodations, and innkeepers! We plan to visit the area again and will definitely stay at this B&B.

My husband and I decided to visit Biltmore for the Christmas Candlelight tour. We've never stayed in a B&B before, so we did a lot of searching on the internet and reading reviews. We finally chose Pinecrest and we're so glad that we did! We stayed in the Grace Suite, and it was wonderful. The fireplace was so nice to come back to in the evening and we really looked forward to the treats in the dining room. My husband asked me to get the recipes, as he really loved the apple cake and the pecan bars. Breakfast on the sun porch was wonderful; the food was awesome and we loved watching the squirrels and the birds. We definitely would stay here again, and since we upgraded our Biltmore tickets to a yearly admission, we're already looking forward to our next visit to Asheville! The Martins and Stacy were so helpful and kind. They gave us suggestions on what to do and where to go. We tried the Food Tour and had a great time! We definitely would recommend Pinecrest B&B to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable inn with wonderful food.

We highly recommend that you treat yourself to the Pinecrest B&B experience. Owners/Innkeepers are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the Ashville "offerings" . Meals are superb. Rooms are largeand gracious, with lovely decor. We ARE going back!! Carol & Keith, Shalimar Florida.

We take a trip to Asheville twice a year, and always look forward to staying at Pinecrest during our visit. Pinecrest has the complete package of beautiful rooms, wonderful food and friendly innkeepers. We tried staying at another b&b in the area once, but it didn't compare to the warmth we feel at Pinecrest. Pinecrest is in a (b&b) league all by itself.
