At arrival we were treated to wonderful homemade apple cake. It was good - in fact, so good that we found ourselves going downstairs @ 11:30 to get another slice! They were very attentive and the rooms were very well appointed. The sheets and linens are absolutely wonderful - cozy, soft and clean. The breakfasts were great with 2 courses, all homemade. The innkeeper made a wonderful suggestion for dinner (CARMEL'S) and was very quick to give accurate directions, offer to arrange tickets, etc. Very friendly and a home-y atmosphere.

We stayed at the Pinecrest recently for a quick getaway. We stayed in the Thomas Wolfe room, which was very roomy, well appointed, and a very comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The location is great, in the historic section surrounded by large, old homes full of character, as well as other B&Bs. The area is very quiet. Although downtown is walkable, it will depend on your stamina and ability. The breakfast was superb, and the freshly baked goods provided for a late afternoon or evening snack was appreciated. We met some great people there, and the hosts were friendly and constantly helping guests with tickets, suggstions, etc. Overall, you cannot go wrong staying here, and I will not hesitate to do so the next time we visit Asheville.

My son, Atticus, and I spent a wonderful evening at the PInecrest. The room was charming, clean and roomy. The hostess was welcoming and warm. The atmosphere was beautiful and quiet-- a wonderful resting place for our weekend adventure in Asheville. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and presented with a sense of pride and love--simply delightful! Without reservation, I encourage you to take advantage of this Asheville gem! We had the lovely opportunity of staying in Asheville for Brewgrass 2009 and picked this B&B for our stay. It was a home away from home. Stacy and her lovely daughter were gracious hostesses and we couldn't have been more pleased. They bent over backward to make our stay memorable from providing lovely homebaked treats to going out in the rain to purchase a newspaper in the morning for another couple staying there. There was a great booklet put together for ideas from everything to hiking, ghost tours, and horse back riding to restaurants. Accomodations were not only fresh and inviting but the ultimate in home-like comfort and bed and breakfast luxury. A lovely home nestled in garden beauty. It was truly a pleasure.

My partner and I made a last minute decision to visit Asheville for a long weekend and booked the Grace Suite at the Pinecrest Bed and Breakfast. We were not disappointed! Our hosts arranged our Biltmore tickets, made suggestions about local attractions and excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was outstanding and the afternoon treats were great. We appreciated the quite and convenient location that allowed us to walk into downtown Asheville each evening for dinner. We are very happy that we didn't book an anonymous hotel as our weekend experience would not have been as fulfilling.

In need of a overnight get-a-way from Atlanta, I'm glad I found the charming respite at Pinecrest B&B in Ashville! The innkeepers were especially helpful in guiding me through driving and parking directions for local attractions. I enjoyed their recommendations for dinner and also the delicious breakfast they prepared for the guests.
