Eclectic and historic, Grand Bohemian was a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Food at the restaurant was outstanding. Our conference room was spacious and well equipped, though the folks who catered the meeting were not on their A Game with details (such as glassware with the chocolate milk, cookies on the first day were over baked, not enough silverware). The spa was a disappointment and over priced; talent was not experienced.

This place is just amazing and that statement goes for both the property and the people. We are getting married here today and everyone was so accommodating with all of our requests. Thank you to John the GM, Joan and Kellie that assisted us in this journey with planning our event. Your level of professionalism and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We plan on having our anniversary celebration with you guys for many years to come. Thank you...

The hotel staff was excellent; great attention to detail, friendly and efficient. The hotels location is very convenient to Biltmore which is across the street and downtown Asheville is only a few minutes away. The Red Stag restaurant in the lobby was wonderful. Room was very nice and quaint. Only complaint would be the excessive street noise. Not sure if it was just the close proximity to the street or if the windows are thin but the noise from outside was very loud. While we did enjoy our stay very much, making a repeat visit would be questionable based on this one unfortunate aspect.

Room Tip: Get a room away from the street

We stayed for a few nights and the location is excellent. Of course, the proximity to the train tracks can make things tricky if you are a light sleeper. The rooms are large and I see some write-ups mentioning the small windows. Well, I doubt most are staying there in hopes of sightseeing from your window, so I wouldn't sweat that. Truth is, it IS a busy area with traffic and the train, so we appreciated the smaller windows for noise.

The staff and restaurant were excellent and the location for restaurants and day events was perfect (I do enjoy reading other reviews on here. I loved the one that said the only food was some fast food right outside the door. Yes, if you only venture 40 to 50 feet from the hotel, that is all you will find. But if you are crazy, and want to go a whopping 50 YARDS, you will find excellent choices (Corner Kitchen was fantastic)).

A great central location with the occasional train whistle. I wish the town could get the trains to stop that. They only come through at a few miles an hour, so not sure why the whistle is being sounded, at all. Its not a bullet train :)

Room Tip: Stay on the side of hardees. Just ask them :)

We came to Asheville on a Sunday afternoon for a short visit. This is a great location, in Biltmore Village so a fun place to walk and enjoy the nice North Carolina weather. The Grand Bohemian has a nice restaurant and we enjoyed a great meal on Sunday night. On Monday morning I walked a couple of blocks to the Corner Kitchen for breakfast. The Trolley Tours bus stops in front of the hotel so it works to leave your car and ride the bus around town.
If you want a quick coffee a McDonalds and Hardee's are in the next block. You should try this hotel for a special stay!
