We have been visiting Asheville (only two hours from us) for the last 15 years. We NEVER knew this amazing hotel existed. No offense to the other equally gorgeous and unique hotels in the area, but they can't possibly compare to this one. The decor is breathtaking and the rooms are serene (soothing music playing in the room upon entering and giant tub connecting the bath and bed areas).
We arrived at 11am on a Saturday for a couples spa experience. The spa is tiny, but the service is impeccable and it was a top notch deep tissue massage. I highly recommend! After the massage, my therapist told me I could just wear their robe to my room. But our room wasn't ready when we initally arrived. However, after I dazedly wandered to the spa entrance, the bellman arrived with our key & escorted us to our room where our bags were already waiting. (3 1/2 hrs earlier than the regular check in time). Very impressed by this!!
We ordered room service and it was fabulous. Highly recommend the crab cakes and soup, hungarian goulash.
We dined for brunch in the Red Stag Grill and the food was also very good. I will agree with other reviewers though that they are going to need to step up the level of service in the restaurant if they want to represent themselves as a high end restaurant. Our waiter was rarely seen and refilled coffee one time only after we asked. The restaurant was the only area of improvement that i would suggest. Othewise, you should definitely not miss this hotel!

My wife and I, as well as our two grown sons Stayed at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville on December 22nd and 23rd with a visit to the Biltmore House for the candle light tour. It was a perfect location and the feeling was luxurious to match the Biltmore House. We had adjoining rooms which made it seem like a suite The rooms and bathrooms are large with large tubs for soaking. The large flat screen television also had Internet access and music. The only thing I didn't like about the king sized room bathroom was the access to the shower which is in the large tub which was awkward to get out of when wet. The double Queen room adjoining our room and a walk in shower, as well as a tub. We never noted the train noise others complained about. A

The service was excellent and very accommodating. We ate breakfast in the main dining room and service for fresh and friendly. I had the best Eggs Benedict and waffles I have ever had. The breakfast included package was only $10 more for double occupancy. We did not eat dinner at the Red Stag restaurant because it was some what pricey with entrees mainly in the $30 range, but did hear great reviews. In Biltmore Village, Rezaz restaurant Mediterranean fare across the street was excellent and The Corner Kitchen 2 blocks away was great for lunch or dinner.
In summary, it is a wonderful boutique luxury hotel with a great location for visiting The Biltmore House and Asheville.

Room Tip: Ask about having a walk in shower in King sized room. If any physical impairment, it may be difficul...

Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville is the perfect place to relax, rejuvinate, and reconnect. From the moment the valet opens your car door to the glass of champaign offered at the concierge desk where you sit and register, you know you picked the right place! The hotel has the feeling of a Colorado lodge, complete with antler chandeliers, and the artwork throughout the hotel is amazing. Jazz music plays in the background everywhere and welcomes you as you enter your room. The room is comfortable and cozy, great mattress, faux fur throw, feather pillows, Bose radio, and a flat screen which doubles as a computer! The soaking tub is extra large (bring your own bubbles), rain shower is nice! Every employee was friendly, helpful, and professional. The Red Stag Restaurant in the hotel is enjoyable fine dining. The Grand Bohemian pays attention to the little things, and that is what makes this property our favorite place to stay in Asheville.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Manor House and found it so quiet we forgot we were in a hotel! We were not bothere...

As a Marriott platinum premier, my spouse and I stay at a lot of hotels. This is by far one of our favorite.
Check in at a desk with chairs.
Beautiful suite with large soaking tub and bath salts
Great food, did room service dinner and breakfast downstairs. Only complaint, wish they would
D have more Southern breakfast dishes (biscuits and gravy)
Starbucks across the street.
Great shopping next door

We stayed for 3 nights in early April 2011 and have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The room was lovely, the staff knowledgeable and attentive and the location was perfect for touring The Biltmore Estate.

The Grand Bohemian is located very conveniently off of I-40, which off-ramps right into the Biltmore Village (where the hotel is the centerpiece). From the extremely friendly and help valets to the personal touch of sitting down at a table with a concierge to check in instead of a counter, to the exquisitely detailed "hunting lodge chic" decor This grand hotel looks like a modern Eastern Europe palace! The rooms were amazingly appointed, with large double door bathrooms, marble vanity, deep jaccuzzi tub with bath salts and other spa ingredients already there(for a charge though). It even has doors that open from right by the tub into the bedroom area. Beds are very comfortable-firm but soft, with faux fur appointments and heavy blankets. Plasma/lcd tv and comfy balcony complete the awesome room. The food in the restaurant is incredible, especially the blackberry creme brulee! This hotel is truly remarkable and will be our permanent choice in Asheville.

I'm really not sure where my wife found this hotel..but we have been coming to the Grand Bohemian Asheville for 2 years now. We usually go three to four times per year and are always happy. This is a world class hotel in my eyes and I look forward to every stay.

Often we come and never leave the propery for a day or two. This is a great hotel to relax and unwind at. Winters here are awesome. after Christmas last year we snuck up to Asheville in a huge snow storm (took forever to get there from Nashville) but the Propery and the surrounding village was gorgeous.

I think the staff here is the best in the business; the front desk is very helpful. The Valet will keep you car close if you need it close, the bellman is great and very helpful! You will love the staff, they wait on you hand and foot.

The restraunt on the property is very cool. Not the finest dining in the Land; but very cool fusion style food that likely will impress you if you like fusion style food.

We love that this hotel is pet friendly; I'm sure Mack will come along soon.

All there rooms are nice; whether you take the standard room or a suite; we've tried most of them; they are all world class. You will love the bathrooms....all hotels need to follow in the footsteps of the Kessler Collection of Hotels!

Prepare to spend some money. This hotel is no bargain...but It is well worth it.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great...suites are wonderful.
