Had lunch with our 3 generation family of 5. We all enjoyed our salads, pizza and winter veg soup but the dessert (salted Carmel ice cream) was the clincher. Waitstaff was pleasant and even volunteered beer tasting to help us select. Would dine here again. Even the kids/teens were happy.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Bistro. The food was good. The service was good. The kitchen/food prep area was a little noisy though. With that said, I think we all expected more from Biltmore, and, in that regard, we all felt a little disappointed. We had better experiences at other restaurants in the Asheville area.

After wandering around the Biltmore Estate all morning we were hungry. Nothing at the estate interested us so we decided to head to the winery. The bistro had a modern feel with a large open kitchen in the center of the restaurant. Service was attentive and we were seated in a booth next to the window. We ordered drinks. My wife had a glass of Pino Grigio and I had a brown ale. Both are local to the estate. The wine was excellent and the beer was OK. My wife ordered the spinach/artichoke pizza and I ordered the beef sandwich. The food arrived fairly quickly and was hot and fresh. The sandwich was piled high with tender hunks of beef with fries on the side. The fries were homemade and good. Would suggest you try the homemade chips instead. My wife's pizza was a nice thin crust with some dark marks from the oven. Very nice. Overall we were surprised by the quality of the food, especially at a tourist attraction. It was little expensive (similar to a nice restaurant downtown) but the quality was very good. A good place to eat when you visit Biltmore. After lunch be sure to go next door and enjoy some free wine tasting.

We ate here before touring the home and it was delicious. The bread that comes before the meal is great and the french onion soup is even better than Famous Barr. We had the braised beef sandwich- very tender and flavorful.

Our server was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing lunch. I had a bellini, which was $10 and a very small portion... that would be my only complaint.

We ate lunch here during our stay at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. The prices are extremely inflated and not justified.
