We were staying close by at the Pinecrest B&B and decided to dine here after seeing the reviews. We were not disappointed.
Don't expect posh table linen and napkins but what you do get is great food.
We decided to just order main courses as with each you get locally baked bread plus a salad. Both were excellent.
For mains we had The Meshach which consisted of grilled hickory molasses rubbed chicken together with a white wine sauce with mushrooms and peppers. My other half had Mayfield Falls which was a fish dish of Mahi Mahi with mango mint salsa, peppers, ginger and a creamy white wine sauce. Neither were spicy but our server did give us a separate little pot of something if we wanted to make it hotter - but take care as even a little of this stuff can blow your head off!
Also had a local draft beer that our server recommended - sorry don't recall what it was - which was very good.
Overall, a good experience and well worth a visit.

This is a hidden gem. Probably ranks as one of our favorite meals during our 3 night stay in Asheville. It's got a cool atmosphere and is located in a neighborhood within a mile and 1/2 of downtown- right next to a convenient store.

Lots of flavor and fresh ingredients- I had the Nine Mile (which is their signature entree). I chose medium spice and probably could have easily handled the hot as it wasn't too spicy. Very, very good food.

Caribbean, Jamaican menu, heavy on fish.
Get there early no reservations and fills up fast. We got there about 6 O'clock on Friday and were seated right away, everyone that came in later had to stand and wait.

There were four of us, three ordered different types of fish and one chicken. Everyone enjoyed their food. However, you get one not too large piece of fish either on a big bowl of fettuccine or mashed potatoes. Very tasty and filling but if you are trying to watch carbo intake this is probably not the place for you. Moderately priced.

We chose this restaurant because of the reviews on Trip Advisor! It was a great choice!

The Caribbean style menu is a nice change from the typical cuisines offering a variety of flavors and spices. They also had several vegan options.

The service was great, food excellent all in a quaint inviting atmosphere.

What an amazing restaurant and certainly worth every bit the wait. A fusion of Jamacian and well I don't really know what. The meal was excellent. The wait staff great. Even though there was a line we never felt rushed. Definitely worth the visit.
