We were staying close by at the Pinecrest B&B and decided to dine here after seeing the reviews. We were not disappointed.
Don't expect posh table linen and napkins but what you do get is great food.
We decided to just order main courses as with each you get locally baked bread plus a salad. Both were excellent.
For mains we had The Meshach which consisted of grilled hickory molasses rubbed chicken together with a white wine sauce with mushrooms and peppers. My other half had Mayfield Falls which was a fish dish of Mahi Mahi with mango mint salsa, peppers, ginger and a creamy white wine sauce. Neither were spicy but our server did give us a separate little pot of something if we wanted to make it hotter - but take care as even a little of this stuff can blow your head off!
Also had a local draft beer that our server recommended - sorry don't recall what it was - which was very good.
Overall, a good experience and well worth a visit.
