“Interesting twist”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

Very crowded little spot but excellent and creative food though the service was a bit hit and miss for our tastes. I love the purple ceilings.

“totally local, Jamaican influenced”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

in Mopntford residential section, great food and great prices, very authentic Asheville- lots of big hair, loose clothes and fun people from the neighborhood.

“Great Food & Price”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

This is a great little restaurant. We really enjoyed the food. My sister & I were on vacation & looking for something different, not just the normal restaurant chain that we can get back home (Texas). It is Carribbean/Jamican and is really good food for a very low price & the portions are very large. The most expensive is approx $17 but most entrees were under $13. Not the best place to spend a "romantic" evening as it is small and not geared to this but is a place that I will bring my husband next year. The only drawback to this restaurant is the parking situation....the only parking is parrall on the street. It is set in a residential neighborhood & you would not find it easily unless you are looking for it. BUT IT IS VERY GOOD AND WORTH FINDING. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

“Go Get Some Rasta-Pasta Baby!”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

The best in my opinion, this is a go to restaurant for any night. Relaxed very personal atmosphere with outside dining for those nice summer evenings in the mountains. Great selection of food from "Rasta-Pasta" like jerk chicken or fish, veggies and sauce to some standards with black beans and rice. The flavor is awesome and you can get it as hot as you like (Be prepared though, atomic face melt is possible here)

Seating is tight and this is a small restaurant so best for tables of 2-4, otherwise prepare to wait. But, get a local beer at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere. This is a nice, neighborhood restaurant off the tourist path that will not disappoint.
