I was excited to try this place out based on the other reviews I read, but we were sadly disappointed. They had a decent beer selection and I did like that they had samplers and flights to buy. But I didn't like the vibe of the place. Perhaps it was just an off night?

Belgian Brewhouse with a wide variety of taps and attentive staff. Plus a pint of bacon appetizer. Delicious.

Funky little place with Ashville vibe, but more for tourists than locals. Too expensive for me. Other options plentiful.

I didn't expect to enjoy The Thirsty Monk as much as I did. The beer selection is great, with a wide range of wonderful flavors. Staff knows their beers and will let novices sample to decide what they want to drink, so don't be intimidated.

The corned beef sandwich was delicious. Not fatty, full of flavor, and served quickly.

Interesting decor, this place is definitely created to appeal to beer lovers. Check it out.

There are so many beers to try here. First night in Asheville we stopped by for a couple drinks and had some good beer. Upstairs first downstairs second. The second night we decided to check it out again and it was as good as it was the night before. Try the flight if you want to sample different types of beer for a good price. Selection of beer here is by far one of the best ive seen. Lots of local beers and microbrews.
