We spent two days in Asheville with one day to view the Chihuly Exhibit. We toured the entire exhibit in daylight and then returned for the night tour. Some of the exhibit was much better seen in the day in order to get a full appreciation of the color variations of the glasswork. I think they could have done a better lighting job to highlight the exhibit at night especially the ones in the three pools that had several exhibits.

The Biltmore is a favorite and we had to go back to see the Chihuly Exhibit there through 10/7/18.

The grounds now have a metal detector at the entrance to the house.

The house is so well preserved and I always learn something new. It's best to decide ahead of time if you want to purchase any additional tours. They now have dates you must have reservations as well so check the website before planning a trip.

The gardens are always beautiful and the views breathtaking.

If I lived here I would have an annual pass.

I appreciate the desire to protect the aesthetics and architectural integrity of Biltmore's house and gardens. However, it is apparent that an absolute minimum effort has been made to provide accessibility for wheel chairs and baby strollers. For the home there is one ramp to both enter and exit. There is one small elevator to access the second floor. Third floor is available to guests who can climb stairs. The gardens are terraced with both stairs and a paved path. However, the paths are so steep that it would be difficult to control a wheelchair carrying an adult. Are there no codes governing this omission

Amazing Home, make sure you do the audio as well. The grounds and Home are spectacular. Good shopping and food on property- don’t miss the wine tasting
