“House Tour & Winery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2014

Hadn't been to the Biltmore in 20 years and enjoyed the tour in July, albeit was rather warm. We took the Butler's tour which was really interesting and had a bit of a Downton Abbey feel to it as we got a behind the scenes tour of the inner workings of the house. The access to the "backrooms" not seen in the general house tour makes the additional cost of the tour worth the price. The winery was a pleasure as always and was a nice way to cap off a lovely tour.

“Christmas Candelight Tour was great but unfortunately did not have opportunity for full experience.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed the Christmas Candlelight tour. Our 4 teenage children enjoyed it as well. Our only disappointment was we were unable to enjoy the gardens or village. We were looking forward to a visit to Antler Village the following day but unfortunately had other obligations in the morning and a sick child in the afternoon. We returned the next day but the ticket office staff stated they were unable to make adjustments.

“Awesome Estate Visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

The guided audio tour and the convenience of it's location to our hotel. It was a bit crowded but it was worth the first time visit. I look forward to returning to explore the rest of the property… winery etc.

“Christmas at the Biltmore!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

We went on New Year's Eve for a Candlelight Tour. The house is absolutely beautiful, and they had music the night we were there. Of course, since it was New Year's Eve, it was very crowded, but not too bad. We went back for a morning audio tour on New Year's Day, and it was a relaxing, leisurely walk through the house. The audio tour gives you so much information, and even though it is an add-on, I recommend it if at all possible. The evening tours don't offer it, but the hosts and hostesses are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions.

“Really impressive and more impressed during the Christmas Season”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

Really beautiful place. Just a warning that they have over 10,000 people visit per day during the Christmas season. I highly recommend paying the $15 for valet.
