Beautiful inside and out, top to bottom. I would definitely recommend getting the audio tour for the house. You really get a lot more out of the visit.

The home (castle, really) is enormous and filled with works of art and antiques. I have been a few times since I live in the area and would like to make a trip at least once a year and sometimes especially at Christmas because the decorating is awesome!! But, it is expensive - we had friends visit and they wanted to go there so it cost $240 for four adults. I think that is too expensive since it's a self guided tour and I couldn't seem to find any coupons or discounts online. In these tough economic times it seems they could lower their prices a little...

Recently moved to South Carolina and because we are so close, decided to visit the Biltmore home! What a fabulous time. The employees of the entire grounds are wonderful, the tour of the home is great and I would whole-heartedly recommend this as a great family adventure. There is so much to see and do you will have to spend the entire day there. Restaurants are very good, the creamery should not be missed and the winery is very nice and the free samples are a must!

We have season passes and love going to the Biltmore for all the activities. The house is good once but all the activities bring us back. They have biking and little shops and great coffee and tea. Wine tasting is always fun.

Went here during Christmas time and took the candle light tour. What an amazing visit and absolutely beautiful. Went to the wine tasting first and then the tour. The house is so impressive. You could up grade your tickets for a season pass that pays for itself in one visit!!!
