“Nice southern breakfast”
Reviewed August 5, 2010

I had the blueberry pancakes. Not the best I've had but very good. My husband had a southern breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and brown gravy). Their biscuits are very good. They are fresh made and you get one with your meal no matter what you order. Their brown gravy is very good and I don't usually like country brown gravy. The waitress warns you that the Moose Cafe will not let you go home hungry. The portions are large!! They need to do some remodeling of the restaurant as the interior is rather old and worn.

“Great Southern Food!!”
Reviewed August 2, 2010

The only problem we have eating here is deciding what to have...and then we can never finish it! The food is delicious and the service is fast. The portions are very generous! Breakfast or lunch...they're both terrific!

“Great food”
Reviewed July 20, 2010

Take the time to stop and eat at a landmark in Asheville. The portion sizes are huge and you can share most plates. The food and service are just wonderful! Save room for the desserts they have!
