“Nice place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

My wife and I stopped over in Asheville on our way to Nashville. After reading the responses on Tripadvisor, we decided to try Sleep Inn. We've stayed at many Choice hotels before but never at a Sleep Inn. We were pleasantly surprised. Desk personel were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and quiet. We didn't try their hot breakfast but by description, it was typical hotel fare. Overall, a very good experience.

Staying here was a last minute decision. We was just to tired to make it home. I read reviews for the local hotes around and this one had great reviews! We did not make a mistake. For the price and what you get it was AMAZING! Staff was great, check in was the fastes EVER! The room was very clean and the beds slept so good. They have the best beds!! I wished I was back there last night when I crawled into my own bed. I would definatly recomeend this hotel to others and actually already have. If I knew all Sleep Inns was this nice I would never stay any place else!!!

Room Tip: we had NO problems and was on the 3rd floor at the very end, room #329

We were traveling home from Nashville and needed to stop along the way. Being a Choice Privilege member, I searched to find Choice hotels along the way and boy are we glad we read the reviews on this hotel! Very nice, clean, sweet little hotel near Asheville. Room was clean and comfortable and "modern" looking - not typical hotel room furniture. Included microwave and fridge. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Front desk staff friendly and recommended place to eat for dinner (the room key provided 10% off meal). Breakfast next morning was great.

Hotel let us check in early and were very friendly. The best part was the value, we did the biltmore package and it saved us alot of money. The hotel was very updated and clean. I can't say anything about the breakfast because we slept in and missed it so i guess i could say the beds were very comfortable.

It's was a very pleasant experience when we stayed at this property. It's like a brand new property with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Customer service was excellent and breakfast was awesome. Hot biscuits were delicious. I would highly recommend this place for business as well as family stay. Keep up the good work.

We visited from Chattanooga for the weekend. Everything is right here! Great location for all the attractions. Great room, computer access and breakfast. The next door guests were young men that were making alot of noise. The front desk took care of the problem promptly. We were pleasantly surprised at how good this motel was for the value.

Room Tip: Second floor was easily accessible due to stairs in the lobby.

The room was not the greatest, but just okay. They had warm chocolate chip cookies for us at check-in--nice touch. Unfortunately the lemonade drink served with the cookies had a weird medicinal taste, couldn't drink it. Bed was comfortable, pillows were small and lumpy, but at least there were 5 of them. Sink counter was too small for two people to use at one time and there was no full-length mirror. Room decor and furniture were recently updated with nice modern color scheme (brown and beige with fresh spring green accent walls--very nice). Place was somewhat noisy--could hear people clomping around above, but luckily they were quiet after 10pm so we got some sleep. Now for the breakfast: one of the worst I have ever had the misfortune to experience. The coffee was plain bad. No amount of cream could save it. They claim they serve a hot breakfast, but the only eggs were cold rubbery boiled eggs. The sausage patty was disgusting and inedible as were the bisquits and gravy. Hey, folks aren't we in the land of great Southern cooking here? How can you serve this crap? Jeez, I've had way better bisquits and gravy at the Holiday Inn in Queens, NY!!! I won't be going back to this joint. It was terribly overpriced for what we got. Never stayed at a Sleep Inn before and probably will never stay at another one.
