A fairly new place.... great view and food was good.. it beats going all the way into Homestead to eat and coming back for other activities at the National Park.
The Owners, Hector and Rhonda, were very pleasant and friendly...

This place is not fancy--think more like a beach bar--but is it perfectly nice for a casual meal in a pretty settting. The service is friendly and fast. The setting is very pretty. We were there when it was quiet, only a few people on the beach. It is probably louder and busier on weekends. I had a shrimp basket with plump, nicely prepared shrimp (so many of them I couldn't finish). The menu is still a work in progress according to the server but I think it's fine for what it is. There are burgers, Mexican, some seafood. Very affordable. They have outdoor seating overlooking the water and indoor seating in a screened area. I would go back. Note: We went for a walk around the lagoon and the horseflies were vicious! If you go in the evening in the summer don't bother with a walk--you'll be miserable!

Average beef enchiladas accompanied by cold beans and rice. Because the screened doors were left propped open, we fought flies the entire time. Filthy drinks stations in the dining area which had not been wiped down in a long time. (We were there for an early lunch so no excuse for this.) Plastic tubs piled with dirty plates, etc. from cleared tables was left 10 feet away from us for the duration of our meal. Beautiful view, polite, friendly and efficient service but sadly not enough save this place.

The place is so beautiful, the beer was very cold and the food was just horrible. My beef tacos were super salty covered by chopped tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, tortillas were fried and swam in grease. Salsa had no flavor what so ever, just fresh tomatoes. I will go back for the beach and the view and maybe order wings next time or just beer.

We read all the bad reviews but went anyway for the view and location. We were pleasantly surprised with a very good snapper plate and some bean tostadas. The fish was fresh and they served beer and wine and there was an awesome view off Key Biscayne towards Miami!
