“Very Cool, for about 5 minutes”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

The Castle is pretty neat and there are some cool features (like the sundial) but it's only really worth it if you are already near the attraction. The whole place is pretty small and can be walked in 5 - 10 minutes.

“Fascinating place!”
Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

This was not AT ALL what I expected. You hear the word "castle" and all kinds of images come to mind. This was not one of them. All I can say is, you've got to see it yourself. And it's not just a matter of seeing what this man did, but it's truly understanding that he accomplished some amazing engineering feats on his own.

Your entrance fee covers the guided tour. If you've missed the beginning of one, you can jump in the end of another so you don't have to wait around. They provide umbrellas for you to help with sun protection, which is really considerate.

The Coral Castle is a little oasis in the midst of modern chaos. It is a timeless phenomenon that you must visit To appreciate. Take some time to relax in the coral "Lazy Boy" recliner and ponder your surroundings. If you have an extra hour or so as you're in the Miami area, visit the Coral Castle.

“Very interesting”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Beautiful castle and the story of how it was built is unreal. Our tour guide took time toexplain all the parts of the castle and answer our questions. The film at the end of the tour was also informative. Hard to imagine that one man could build two castles in his lifetime by himself.

“Unbelievable!”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

What a gem of a beauty! How come I have never heard of this place, except by accident? What a beautiful sight to behold. It is amazing that this place was built, much less being built by one man. The short video before the tour shows and explains the Coral Castle, and the tour guides (if you chose to be part of a tour) were great at explaining everything, as well. The place is simply amazing to behold. We are so glad we visited here. I wish more people could/would see this stunning place. :)
