“Massive sandstone arches”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

This is a relatively easy hike through eastern woodlands and up and down ladders to go under and on these huge arches. Very impressive but almost impossible to capture on camera from the ground because of the surrounding forest.

“Gorgeous!”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

The 0.7mile hike to the twin arches (total loop about 1.4) is well worth the effort. The scenery along the way is beautiful, but the at times very steep steps felt more like ladders and can be dangerous when wet. I loved the hike back up the arches to the parking lot; the views were beautiful.
I can't wait to go back and do this hike again in the fall.

“Get ready to hike!”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

If you ride your horses to the twin arches there is a place to tie your horse up while you climb!!!! It is a climb but a good trail getting there on foot! A must see!

“Twin Arches are a must see”
Reviewed October 7, 2011

These are two very impressive arches and it is a pretty walk to them. There are several steps to go up and down but for a 3/4 mile (1.5 mile round trip) hike to them it was a pretty easy hike. We also hiked 1 mile further toward Jake's place and that is an great hike along very interesting bluffs, rock shelters, seasonal water falls and two arches (one small one on the top of the rocks to the left as you go through the gap and Jake's Chimney, at 5 ft hole going out of the top of a shelter 1 mile from twin arches)
