“The Hidden Gem of Los Alamos”

If you haven't visited the Los Alamos Co-op - go. Not only do they maintain a diverse, fresh supply of alternstives to "that other" store, but they also stock novel, hard-to-find items, too. On top of that, the deli sandwich and coffee bar are a great alternative to more mainstream fare. The deli takes phone orders, so you can call in your sandwich, drive in from town, and have a fresh, made-to-order lunch away from your desk. A great

“Great find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Who would think a little co-op would be such a delightful culinary experience?! Not only does this little market have anything you could wish for, but most items are local and truly delicious. The cafe makes incredibly wonderful dishes and the entire market is a Gluten Free foodie paradise. Want great cheeses? meats? sweet treats? fresh veggies and fruit? CHECK to it all! Absolutely worth the drive if you don't live in Los Alamos, especially if you grab lunch in the cafe before you do your shopping.

“GREAT FOOD CO-OP”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

Fortunate to have such a good food co-op in a town of this size. We had family visiting from Tacoma who said it was better than the one they go to. We eat lunch there 2-3 times a week. Healthy and wholesome.

“Expensive but very good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

A cooperative food store just outside Los Alamos. A kind of Whole Foods in miniature. Very helpful staff and an interesting selection of local and organic food. If you want more conventional stuff - Coke, for instance - combine a visit here with a trip to Smiths in central Los Alamos.

“A great addition to Los Alamos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2012

A very nice natural foods store. The location was a bit out of the way (east side of airport by the Holiday Inn) but not hard to find.

The staff were outgoing and helpful. The deli had lots of good options. Both our vegi burrito & chicken salad were fresh and tasty.

There were also all kinds of fun and interesting choices among their merchandise. We even opted to take some specialty items home that would be harder to find in our town.

What a nice resource for Los Alamos!
