“Nice!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Made to be a cute place but sometimes a little expensive for the value if it's during tourist season.
The nearby Aztec Cafe is good for Indian fry bread, tacos.
i don't have anything else to say about this place, but Travelocity won't take my review unless I have 200 characters.

We really like this Victorian themed inn - it feels like going to visit your great aunt's house and staying in her frilly bedroom. The owners truly treat you as a guest and each room is named after a historic family from Aztec - a nice touch for those of us who like history. Comfortable, clean and in a great location.

Enjoy the laid back hospitality of this old fashioned Inn - tastefully decorated with period wall paper and furniture. Good information about the local area and beyond - i kilometre from Aztec National Monument. Breakfast is basic, if you have the time, would recommend skipping breakfast at the Inn at walking up to the Bistro or grabbing a coffee at the Starbucks located in the Safeway across the street. Excellent value and service. Appreciated the mints in the room!

A charming and pleasant location filled with history. The hotel is well maintained, with antiques and photographs everywhere. The staff is very personable and friendly. Breakfast rolls are served in the morning, with coffee or tea, by the hotel receptionist. I was treated more like a visiting family member than a mere customer. Could have used a desk, in my room but the decor is true to the period and the hotel is easy access to shopping, food, and historic locales. I enjoyed my stay.

Room Tip: I never did get the internet to work.

Not perhaps for the business traveler or for the one night stand in-and-out hurried traveler, but if you plan to stay for a few nights and do some things in or around Aztec, this is an excellent choice. My stay there this weekend was flawless from my perspective. Breakfast needs to be supplemented by Safeway across the street or by an early lunch. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the upstairs porch at night and savoring my day and a drink while watching Aztec go by. I shall return.

A great location in Aztec. Easy access to main street. We came for the Aztec Celtic festival, and this hotel is probably a half-mile away. The room was very clean and well decorated. The cinamon role for breakfast was great. Anyone who doesn't like this motel is too hard to please.

Room Tip: Very quiet and peaceful. Staff was great. The cinamon roll for breakfast is not to be missed! Wonder...
