My family and I have stayed at this hotel twice when visiting family in the area. On both occasions we found the suites and common areas to be comfortable and well appointed. The fully equipped kitchenette is a wonderful feature for families with children.
Location is top notch--the only McLean hotel that I know of in the center of town, but still convenient to Rt. 123 if you're headed to the Tysons area. Walking distance from McLean Shopping Center (Giant Food, CVS) and more than a few great restaurants on Old Dominion Drive/Beverly Road/Elm Street (Pulcinella, Cafe Taj, Italian Deli, to name just a few favorites)
Only downside to this stay was that we had to share the property with poorly chaperoned youth groups (why do hotel hallways turn even older kids into ill-behaved 3-year olds?). Even so, I didn't find room-to-room noise transfer to be an issue. We also found the bed somewhat uncomfortable, but that's always hit or miss for us.More
