A typical old motel that says the Rooms had recently been refurbished... Not that I could see. Room smelt a bit and a bit grubby. No sink in the bathroom but in the kitchenette area. Handy for the town restaurants and getting into Moab

Clean, comfortable and quiet---just off Main Street. Friendly and helpful people at the desk---has a laundry on the grounds which can be very helpful in the dusty Moab area. We always stay on the second floor to insure the most quiet room. Close to the Slickrocks if you are looking for an easy sunset op.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. We were delighted at the amount of room we had as we are a family of 4 with older teenage boys!

The motel is literally located a block off Main Street, so it's ideal for walking to a restaurant and being able to have a drink without fear of drink driving. Being positioned above the office, the apartment never presented a problem with noise...we never heard a soul! Parking was also never a issue...each time, we were able to park as near as possible to the stairwell, which was brilliant as we had a far bit of luggage!

The apartment was clean, beds were very comfy. The full kitchen was a delight to use. Having a good size dining table was lovely...more often than not we ended up eating either at a tiny table for 2 or on our laps in other places we stayed during our road trip. The free Wi-Fi worked fine. Machine operated laundry facilities was a god-send, from a Mums point of view. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool or outside seating area...purely due to lack of time.

However, I personally found a couple of things that could easily have made me give this motel an excellent rating. The first would be to have some sort of privacy curtain at the windows, particularly the bedroom...sometimes having natural light is better than drawing the curtains and having dim artificial lighting. Secondly, the sink (outside the bathroom) had no plug, so we had to use use a cloth to plug it up, in order to have a (very quick) refresh, before refilling.

This place was a sleeper"! It is one block off the main drag and I wasn't so sure when I pulled in the parking lot, but what a FIND!! I am pretty fussy when it comes to hotels and though it's not fancy, it sure was clean and well cared for. The person in the office was very nice and helpful, he gave a good deal and let me look at the room before I committed to it. Very comfortable, even had a kitchenette, which was a surprise. If you want a clean place at a good price, this is it. While you are there, check out the Moab Diner, good food!!

Room Tip: Look at the room before you commit to it!

This was not the best hotel I have stayed in but it was clean and had a refrigerator and freezer to freeze our water bottles (which was important for hiking in hot weather)! It had a plus because it has a laundry mat on the grounds. Only 3 washers and dryers but I was there first so the other people waited until mine was done. I was lucky! Traveling all summer with 3 children, I NEED a laundry mat at least once a week! It is only a few blocks from the main drag so if you wanted to walk into town you could. A lot of eating and party places (which we avoid, so we were glad to be off the main drag). Our room met the requirements we needed for the night.

The hotel is older and the decor is not in competition with high end hotels, but the location was very convenient. The hotel is walking distance to the town. It was clean with comfortable beds. If you are looking for a place to sleep and get comfortable after a long day of hiking and outdoors activities, this is the place. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place. Hotel did not have a restaurant. I don't know if it had a fitness center. No need for one after hiking all day.

Room Tip: If you are looking for a convenient location with comfortable beds this is the place. There is no c...

We had initially booked a room at the Inca Inn, but they got our reservation mixed up and gave our room to someone else. So we wound up at the Rustic Inn. I really don't recommend this motel. The beds were uncomfortable and the linen very itchy. The shower could have been cleaner. Also, the bathroom does not have a sink (how weird is that?!) so you have to use the sink in the kitchenette! The TV didn't work well and the curtains were so worn-down that they were almost see-through. Their was a light right outside our room, so it was like sleepy with the light on! Also, it looked like the lock had been picked or pried open a few times, very reassuring...
