The Rustic Inn is tucked in a neighborhood a block off the main drag. I approached it at night and it didn't have much curb appeal, mostly because of poor lighting and a dingy sign. However, the night clerk was friendly and efficient which allayed my concerns. Once I reached my kitchenette room, my concerns were completely eliminated. The room was workman-like or better yet, "rustic", but spic and span. Don't expect chain-level furnishings and decor. In my particular room, there was no bath vanity. The kitchenette sink does double duty. The kitchenette was also equipped with a fridge, microwave, dishes and utensils.
