This is a great value. $40 off season. Cute, well maintained. Awesome staff featuring Coco the calico cat and mouse hunter extrodinaire. Tiny TV, shower and full bed. We woke up sore from the bed. I recommend Kokopelli. Just remember: don't use the room towels at the hot tub and you get the bed you pay for.

Hello, so glad to hear you enjoyed our hospitality at the Kokopelli Lodge, but sorry to hear you were disappointed with our beds :( All the beds at the Lodge are queen sized, Serta Perfect Sleeper pillow tops that just finished their second season (they are warranteed for 10 years in motel service). I hope you will visit us again sometime and have a more comfortable experience. Thanks for your comments.

Older motel, but well kept. We stayed at the Kokopelli Suites which are larger than the lodge units. When we arrived we had a few issues with the heat and internet access, but Hanna at the front desk was incredibly helpful and made sure the heater issues were fixed. My husband has some IT knowledge and he actually helped to get the Wi-Fi back up and working. The suites are located away from Main Street, but the town is so small, it doesn't matter.

Room Tip: The suites are larger and better equipped than the lodge

When it rains it pours! First the pilot light for the heater kept going out, then the internet failed! We were so happy to have your husband help get the internet going again - Moab is not exactly the top of the food chain on the technology superhighway, and it can take days to get a tech out to service issues that arise. We appreciate your patience and your patronage. Come see us again sometime!

Older Motel. TIny dimly lit room. Felt like a box. Poor Internet signal. I needed to work from Moab and trusted that their advertised wifi would be sufficienct. Disappointed with a dial up type speed.. Could not work from inside the room. Sat out in the garden at 1am in the cold trying to work. Staff was friendly but unwilling to change my room. Had to cancel the rest of the week due to no internet and had to pay a cancellation fee. Moved to another motel, the Bowen. Much better. Brighter bigger rooms, great internet. Could even get a good signal from the hotel across the street. Kokopelli should not advertise wifi until they can provide it for ALL their rooms.

Room Tip: If you need wifi, get a room right infront of the office. Those rooms seemed brighter as well.

We've stayed here a couple of times. The location is fabulous..just off the main drag one block. The main street is highway 191 that runs from border to border and is a truck route. Just being that one block off cuts away all that noise. The rooms are small but there was a fridge and coffeemaker. For the Canadians missing out on their Tims fix ,the fridge is there for your cream and you can bring your can of coffee and you won't be missing your morning "double double" The bathroom doesn't have a vent fan so the window in the shower bay is open so the humidity in the room can be dispersed but by leaving this window open dust can migrate in making it a little difficult to keep this room spotless. Had a minor issue with it and the staff looked after us right now. Very nice to deal with. The parking in the lot can be a little tight but there is lots of available parking on the street. Another nice touch is that you get a guest card that saves you a bit on gas at the City Market grocery store on the south part of town and can save you some money on the food you buy as well. If you're looking for a mint on the pillow and valet parking, this place isn't for you but if you like things inexpensive, simple and friendly this motel is a very good fit.

Room Tip: Room 1 was a good size

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. I'm happy to hear you were pleased with our staff and service as those are the things we strive to provide. Some of the things that come with a motel built in the 50's are not easy to change (like the size of the parking lot and vent fans in the bathroom), so we focus on the things we can do, like service and value. I'm glad we achieved our goal with you. Come see us again sometime!

We stayed at the Inn Towner Suites for two nights while we toured Arches N.P. Check in is at the Lodge location which we had a little trouble finding in the dark. They were extremely welcoming and helpful at check in giving us directions to restaurants and the local grocery store. I also liked that they had a savers card for the grocery store attached to the room key.

After check in we drove the two blocks to the inn towner suites. It was dark and no lights to indicate the location. After stumbling around in the dark we did locate the gate to the suites. It would be helpful if there was a light to illuminate the sign (that we saw the next morning). The suite was very spacious and more than enough room for our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and included a full size stove/oven and refrigerator. It was nice to cook breakfast and pack lunches for the day.

There was no dish soap or trash bags, but I had brought along our own as I did not know what to expect. Perhaps they are supplied and it was just not restocked? The onsite hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of hiking.

We would definately stay here again just for the roominess and kitchen.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad to hear the staff was friendly and helpful - that is our goal. I'm sorry the Inn Towner was so dark upon your arrival. We have been trying solar lighting (which you would think would work well in Moab!), and it has, unfortunately, been unreliable. We may have to go back to electric for guest comfor and safetyt. Eco friendly dish soap is definitely something we supply, so that was an oversight by housekeeping. Apologies. As a green property, we do not provide plastic trash can liners, instead we use waste baskets and garbage cans that can easily be wiped out. We've found that most people do use the bags they get at the grocery store which is a better alternative to providing trash can liners and having the grocery bags thrown away. This information is on the in-room welcome sheet, but we may need to do a better job of explaining it to guests. You probably noticed we didn't have any throw-away items in the room for the same reason. Come see us again sometime!

Stayed here one night as part of a 17 day trip "out west" with my family (wife and two daughters, 12 and 14). I had stayed here before on a mountain bike trip with a bunch of guys. It's clean, quiet, easy walking distance to the main drag, bright colors (my daughters loved that) and small, but unique bathroom.

The Kokopelli Lodge is a great location; within walking distance of everything in downtown Moab. It is also convenient to both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, as well as Dead Horse Point State Park. This is what I would consider a "Mom and Pop" motel, as opposed to a large chain. The room was quite adequate - it has a closet, and a nightstand on either side of the bed. There is a desk which is helpful for both coffee making and computer using. For the age of the place, there are quite a few outlets for charging devices. The bed was comfortable. There is a small frig, small microwave and a coffee maker. We used all of them during our 4 day stay and all were in working order. The bathroom has a small stall shower. The shower pressure is not always top notch. The bath is my only minor complaint about the place. The price during peak season is in the $80 range, which is manageable. Fortunately, most people that stay here have spent the day outside doing activities, so the nights are quite quiet. Very nice staff!
