“Great food with an awesome view”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

We sat outside on the deck. In the shade it was very nice with a great view of the Colorado river and the rock formations. The steak and trout were very good. for the money you get plenty to eat.

“Beautiful Location Along Colorado River”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

We were here mid-week, early May. The view and setting is spectacular next to the Colorado River. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit outside, but we did have window table. It wasn't crowded as we were there a bit early for dinner & thus had good service. We both had medium steaks that were done properly. In addition to dinner, we suggest you go downstairs to visit the fabulous museum dedicated to the Hollywood westerns that were filmed at this location for the last 60 years.

“Great view!”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

We stayed at the Red Cliffs Lodge and ate here for dinner and Sunday brunch. Dinner was very good, especially on the patio overlooking the Colorado River . Brunch was extensive, with an omelet station, and was also very good. You have to make reservations for dinner, but not for brunch, and both are expensive.

“Steak was not cooked correctly”
Reviewed June 13, 2014 via mobile

We were a family of four and all ordered steak / elk dishes medium rare. Three of the meat dishes came out medium rare. One dish ( the special of the evening ) was medium to well done. When I mentioned to the waitress that it was clearly not medium rare as compared to the other dishes ( and was also missing the shrimp the special advertised) we were told it was how the restaurant cooks medium rare but they would check with the kitchen. The plate was taken to the kitchen, where the two shrimp were added and returned after several minutes with everything now colder, but for the newly added shrimp. No explanation was given on the overcooked steak, which was now dry and unappetizing. Truly disappointing service and dining experience especially for the prices that were charged.
