“Convenient location and clean room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2014

Clean room at a good price! Friendly folks working the desk, helpful with any questions about Moab or the National Parks and spot on with the restaurant recommendations. The place was full the two nights we stayed, but everyone respected the posted quiet time hours. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.

This motel is right in downtown Moab, very close to the park entrance. Great value- the room was nice and clean, the bed comfortable. It's true the bathrooms are a bit small and you can't angle the showerhead where you want it, but those are minor inconveniences. You also get a refridgerator & microwave in the room, which is a plus. The motel is also pretty quiet- the only thing that woke us was someone trying to get into our room at three in the morning. They eventually left after about six tries (It amazes me that people can't read room numbers sometimes).

There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby- we didn't use our car once after we arrived. You can also walk to Arches! There is a local bus that takes you to the park's entrance (for free), but we found walking was actually faster (the bus is a little infrequent in the morning).

Will definitely stay here again when we return to Moab.

It was the worst two nights stay during our 10 days trip in Utah. We hiked every day- 1 strenuous and few easy hikes. What one needs after hiking is a nice hot shower and good night sleep. You can't have them at Inca Inn. The shower head was immovable, so the water flow can not be directed in the desired direction; sink was clogged and stank; AC was extremely noisy. All rooms face parking lot, so you can't lift the blinds. We didn't complain about the sink expecting the cleaning person ( who was supposed to clean the sink and discover it's been clogged) next day to report this problem to the office. When we came back the sink was even more clogged then the day before. On check out my husband told the receptionist about the problems in the room, the answer was "Aha". They were perfectly aware of troublesome plumbing and did nothing to fix them.
I don't recommend this hotel, would rather pay more and stay in decent place.

Ahh man............!! I hate it when one of these comes along. We get 100's and 100's of great reviews and then someone leaves one like this. It ruins my day and bums my staff out. We all care so very much about making sure everyone is happy at the Inca.

I'm so sorry this guest had some issues that we didn't have the chance to fix while they stayed with us!

Of course these guests couldn't have known that we wipe out and sanitize the sink during their stay but that we don't necessarily turn the faucet on. If we'd only known about it..................!! It takes a few minutes to fix.

The shower head, along with all the others, is being updated with a new, brightly illuminated color LED shower head. Whether a shower head angle is a problem for someone depends entirely on the height of the guest. We're fixing the problem and adding some fun shower ambiance at the same time.

We service our A/C's regularly, but from time to time one might develop some noise for any variety of reasons. Because of this we keep several back-up A/C's on hand, on the ready to slide into the wall if and when the time comes. All staff are trained on how to do an A/C change and we can have a new A/C in a room in less than 15 minutes. Darn! If only we'd heard about the problem it would have been fixed immediately.

As has always been the case........we benefit greatly from customer feedback. We can't do all that we do without our customers input. In this case I hate to see the input come after a stay instead of during it.........................

Keep them coming. We appreciate them!

Thanks!

Grant

Yes, it exists, a true budget motel with clean rooms, great ammenities and friendly staff. We arrived and were in our room in under 5 minutes. Super friendly check-in with a layout of the area and coupons to a few local restaurants. You're right in the middle of the action so everything is only a short walk away.

The rooms were clean and everything you could hope for at the budget price point. There is free wireless, TV with HBO, free parking, a very nice pool, and complimentary breakfast. I will definitely make this my go-to spot when in Moab. Arches is just 5 minutes down the road, if that, so definitely put that on your list.

Inca Inn is a perfect place to stay when visiting Moab. This city tends to pretty pretty expensive, but Inca Inn offers a great experience for a great price. Nothing too fancy, but everything is clean and nice. I come to this place every time I visit Moab.

The Inca Inn is just five minutes from Arches National Park and 30 from Canyonlands -- what could be better than that? The motel itself is well kept, the beds are comfortable, and it has everything needed for those who are going to be outside most of the time. Even the view of the surrounding mountains is very impressive. The "continental breakfast" actually includes cold hard boiled eggs and cereal and good orange juice, in addition to coffee. It is all you need to get started on a great day. Management was a bit brusque in insisting on a 3 pm occupancy, but that did not interfere with all we wanted to do. All in all, a very good experience.

The Inca Inn is a nice, clean, friendly, slightly retro property very close to the entrance of Arches National Park. Motel staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was perfectly adequate. And the price was right.
