“Order Carefully”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

The food was ok - not what we expected. I ordered barbecue chicken, thinking I'm in the SW, I should get some barbecue. It was very plain chicken with barbecue sauce on the side. So disappointed! My sister had a delicious salad. The wait staff was good but order carefully.

“Great find!”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Perfect fit for us, as we love microbrews and more upbeat atmospheres when dining. We joked that this is the local "apres-hike" and "apres-bike" scene. We ate in the bar area (which I would recommend over the restaurant area) and had some great local Moab brews. Typical bar food as well as inventive American dishes. Great value. Loved this place!

“Lively place, good beer”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

We picked this place by chance. The menu was quite varied and interesting and the drinks menu was really good. Only tried one of the beers but it was yummy. Pink lemonade for the driver was also pretty good. The food was generous and tasty. The decor is quirky and very "outdoorsy" - a raft was suspended from the ceiling above us! Also quite lively & noisy. Music was good, but not the place for a romantic dinner ! Our server was entertaining and attentive, despite seeming to cover a lot of tables.Good value for money. Would happily go back.

“excellent selection, quality and taste”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

The hosts at our B&B in Moab recommended the Moab Brewery and we were not disappointed. The first night's dinner was so good that we went back again the following evening. Great quality, selection and taste.....and reasonably priced.

“Food is bland - better like their beer”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Got into town and this was near the motel. They have a large menu so you pretty much will find something that sounds good to you. I'm wondering why people recommend this place for BBQ. I own a smoker and grill and I know what real smoked meat tastes/smells/looks like. Got the bbq combo that has St. Louis style ribs, quarter chicken and tri-tip. The ribs and chicken were bland, lacked any smoke ring and required bbq sauce to impart any flavor. The skin on the chicken was soggy/flaccid and pale (but the meat was moist and tender - but again, bland). The tri-tip actually had some flavor on the outside but it was TOUGH and overdone.

If the type of "bbq" you like is where the meat is just a canvas for the sauce, then this place is for you - the sauce is decent and makes the meat palatable. Their cole slaw is also not worth eating. Their gelato is also mediocre to just average. I happen to live near a place that specializes in gelato that is just outstanding so I have something to compare against.

The best part of the meal was the salad with their lime-something vinaigrette - I can definitely recommend that 1 item.
