We had tookd a trip for Thanksgiving and had the Thanksgiving diner here. It was superb and the view was outstanding. The staff was first class even on a holiday.

“Moab First Nighter”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

For our first night in Moab, Utah, prior to touring Arches and Canyonlands National Parks we wanted a relaxing and picturesque location for dinner; we selected the Sunset Grill. This restaurant is in a historic home and provided us with a panoramic view of the area as well as a terrific setting to watch the sunset.
We were greeted by a friendly hostess and guided to a window view table where we were able to watch the setting sun.
Our server was informative and worked very hard to make sure our dining experience was what we expected. She returned many times to monitor our progress. First we relaxed with a bottle of wine and after a very leisurely period of time we ordered.
Escargot was our appetizer. The escargot was prepared in a puff pastry with and interesting sauce with mushrooms. A new preparation of escargot for us and we enjoyed it very much. My spouse and I both ordered the Idaho trout entrée. It was prepared well and we found it very tasty.
Great location and tasty food combined to make a good dining experience.

“Great Place!!”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

The Food was Fabulous!

Ordered the 2 Filet Mignon Dinners with Baked Potato, mixture of Broccoli, squash and carrots.
The price was not too bad 24.99 per meal.
Loaf of bread was brought to the table before the the meal
Also Included was a Dinner Salad
The Filet was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor.

The Views were beautiful of the surrounding area.

The only negative thing was that the Biography of Charlie Steen(the Man who built the place as his home) written on the back of the menu was incorrect. It needs to be updated.

You can't leave Moab without visiting the Sunset Grill. From the stunning scenery to the history that goes along with it, it is well worth the trip. Prices are very reasonable, which I wasn't expecting.

“Excellent meal and even better views”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

We showed up at this place without reservations and were able to get a great window table. This was the second seating, so we missed the actual sunset. However, the post sunset colors were amazing. The view from this restuarant is amazing. The food was very good too. We had the filet and the seafood pasta dishes. Both were great.
